Dealifting

I forgot to mention, a little goes a long way. I was using EFTS green mini bands, similar to the red ones shown in the pic above, but I was standing probably a foot closer to the band anchors. Just playing with you band tension a bit and you'll feel the difference. IMO, it looks like the guy in the above photo is standing about a foot too far back, which creates a lot more lat activation rather than hip and hamstring activation.

If you have a video of your DL I'd like to see it

I like this suggestion. but i feel like i'd get mad at the bar trying to roll away from me everytime i try to set up.

I got over it because I wanted a bigger deadlift haha. My max deadlift was stuck in the mid-500's for like 5 years. In the past 4 months it has jumped up a bunch. At my last competition I hit a "relatively" easy 615 on an axle (Probably RPE 8, previous best was 585 on a power bar) and I credit it largely to fixing my technique. Increasing my hamstring strength and learning how to pull back and up made the biggest technique differences for me. I think if I did a 4 week strength block starting today, at the end of the 4 weeks I'd be somewhere between 650-675 on a deadlift bar/power bar. I am shooting for 700 by the end of the year. For the record the 2 biggest deadlifts I hit last year were 572 (RPE 9) and 585 (RPE10).

Fuck it, its way to confusing.
Making everything allow access to my phone, and photos, and all that shit. I dont want youtube to have all my information. I have a video on my iphone i can upload but i can only do it from youtube. So nevermind. WAY to much of a hassle. I have been trying to an hour.

Create a dummy youtube account. Use a free video editing software to crop out what you want out, upload from that and Set video to unlisted. Copy link then here 3 dots next to picture icon then click pic and vid double icon and paste link.

Sounds like a lot but its not

I do it from my phone, upload and edit in FilmoraGo and then save it to phone then upload.

The easiest way I found to get my conventional stance down was to lift the bar like normal, but then set it down really slow, and don't let all the tension off the bar when it touches the ground. That is most likely your body's natural strongest starting point. I got used to the position by doing stop and go reps and still keeping 10% tension on the bar when I take my breath at the bottom. Eventually it just felt natural even on the 1st rep.

Yes, i find it is amazing when doing a 3-1-3-0 rep tempo, which is what i do with all my weight. Today i got 365 for 6 with this tempo.
