DNP cycle 1st time. Female, 21, ready to rock.

Sorry I've been absent! I have been so out of it. I pulled a muscle in my back on Friday (I have an existing back injury) and by Saturday I had to give in and take my muscle relaxer, which makes me ridiculously drowsy and all-around useless (which is why I hate taking it and avoid it as much as possible - I've only take it all of two times now); then yesterday I caught a cold, which is just the icing on top of the cake! :P

I took only 250 mg DNP on Sunday and none on Monday, and now it's off-DNP-time anyway.

My diet, to be frank, has been worthless. And I am kind of freaking out about it. Actually, I'm freaking out about everything - my weight, school, my injuries, money, etc. - and stressing out about everything is NOT doing me any good. At all. So I'm taking a deep breath and taking a big step back and reevaluating where I am and what I can do to get where I need to be.

It's very difficult.

So you ran DNP LYB? How long did you run it and how much fat did you lose? Sides were awfull you said huh?

Ran it for a total of 8-9 days if I remember correctly
Lost about 13lb of fat and 3 of muscle
Great fat loss but the side effect where not worth it I almost was pushing up Daisys

Are you serious?! 8-9 days and you lost that much. Wow, what is my issue, then? Lol.
Would you mind sharing your diet and training plan during that time?

--

My happy news is that my head is back in the game and I'm able to pretty "effortlessly" (for lack of better words) eat and train the way I'm supposed to. I don't know what changed and I wish I did. I have some guesses, like that last night I had a very serious discussion with my parents (who's help I need to fund my tuition expenses in Russia) that boiled down to an agreement between us that they would be forced to end their investment in my ballet career unless I can prove that I am capable of getting control of my weight and to maintain control permanently [while it's always been a given that if I don't work out my weigh issues permanently, there is no future for me as a ballerina, it has made a very big difference to actually lay it out and hear it said to me straight up rather than leaving it as an unspoken, "goes-without-saying" kind of truth. Perhaps that makes me weak, not dedicated enough, or not determined enough, but what can I say, I'm not perfect. To the contrary, I think it makes me human. I have also only ever heard myself described as and used as an example of someone who is exceptionally strong, strong-willed, dedicated, and determined]. Another possible - and really, highly likely - reason why the fog has finally lifted: I increased my dose of Vyvanse today to the 60 mg that actually works to help me think clearly and not act on impulse, rather than the near-useless 30 mg starter dose I'm supposed to take this month which does nothing more than leave me with one Vyvanse less :P

The bottom line is that something in me clicked into place and I feel better than I have in a very long time. I'm continuing the DNP cycle as planned per the adjusted plan, i.e. not taking it every day for a month but rather only on days that I can afford to lend some of my strength to its sides. As things turned out, that meant that yesterday I took 500 mg and today I took 250 mg and will probably not take an additional 250 today. Depending on how I do tonight, I will continue with 250 or 500 tomorrow which I would rather do than skip tomorrow only to continue Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

I intend to weigh in soon and I do expect a significant gain. Some of it I am sure will be actual fat, because from Saturday until yesterday my eating has been off and also without DNP. Some of it will be water retention because of the DNP and any leftover food weight in me that has not yet been, er, disposed of! It sucks that I had to struggle so much with my eating this past week and then on and off the weeks previous where I had been doing so well. What's done is done and I'm just happy to be back to normal again - forever, if I can have it my way. Which, once I've set my mind on something, I have historically always had my way.

So you take dnp just kind of randomly? From what I read about it you are suppose to take it for 10 days or two weeks and not stop and just pick days. I don't think it works like that. I think you have to take it the whole time. I guess a cycle is not suppose to be any longer then 2 weeks. Maybe this and your diet is the reason you aren't getting the results you want. What was your starting weight and what are you now?

Uh, wicked, she hasn't logged in or posted in a month.

lol I know but figured maybe someone else might read it or she might come back on. I don't get how she thought she could use it like that and have it work. It would be like trying to take a oral steroid whenever you wanted and just have it work for that day. Seems most people that try and use dnp don't know what their doing and how to use it correctly.

I was reading her log for a bit then I wasn't around for awhile. When I came back I wanted to see what kind of progress she had made doing it her way since it didn't seem like she wanted advice.

But thanks for watching out for me Tao [:o)] I do get lost sometimes.

the problem is....

most people don't know how to eat...

they use dnp as a quick fix. It works... but... if you don't know how to eat properly... the fat is coming back.

That is a big part to but I don't even think she made it that far. She was taking it on random days rather then run it like a cycle for 10 days or so.

I'd like to open this thread again for discussion. Any other women or men run a DNP cycle successfully lately? looking for tips and advice, A LOT of people advise against DNP, if that's you please save your comment for another thread.

I am starting one the first week in January for 10 days at a very low dose of 100mg per day. Debating if I should even bump to 200mg on day 5+.

I am 5'1 114lbs. Guessing 18-19% BF right now (not proud of it)
Ideal: 5'1 104 at 17% (these were my stats 2 years ago)

DNP will help jumpstart the fat loss, clean diet and hiit will take off the rest.

very intereting compound...Ive played with the idea of giving it a go.It would be interesting to see you log this upcoming run so we can all have more realworld experiences to go by.

I plan to log my experience for the 10 days. I wanted to start my own thread but couldn't figure that out, I'm new to this site.

I have never done a clen/t3 because I am extremely stimulant sensitive, clen would cause severe muscle cramping for me.

Supplementing taurine and potassium and cut down on the clen cramps tremendously

You'll want to take a lot of supplements and have others on hand for the DNP run too, here's an old thread that's copy and pasted a lot, check out the supplementation section: TESTOSTERONE NATION | Everything About DNP (2,4-Dinitrophenol) - Page 1

Most important thing is.. if you're not pleased the first days, that does not mean it is time to up the dose, the drug accumulates. Good idea to take your temp regularly too

Thanks for the good advice.

I do take Lipodrene/T3/Taurine right now. I do notice taurine helps with cramping but does not eliminate it. I have a back injury and muscle spasms are triggered easily, so I can't imagine what they'd be like on Clen.

Starting out at 100mg of DNP, only upping after Day 4 if I feel comfortable. I find myself cold all the time, so I am actually looking forward to the sweating brought on by DNP. Just hoping I see results at such a low dose.

Ha, okay, yeah good idea to stay away from clen then. That would be hell.

Just hoping I see results at such a low dose.

You will! A milder and safer approach for your size is still extremely powerful.. you're using DNP after all. Keep in mind you'll look best days after the cessation of the cycle, you may retain a lot of water so do not get discouraged by the scale / mirror and start taking riskier doses.

Thanks noahk, have you run DNP?

I will keep a logical head and understand full DNP results will show days after its left my system.
