Dnp gave me cataracts at the age of 22

listen, im not being a bitch or scaremonger but i feel i need to tell my story. i am not blaming anyone but myself. i have used dnp over and over many times. it is the best fat burner in the world, it works MIRACLES. i never once thought i would have long term issues. i pushed doses sometimes over 1000 mg a day, sometimes 6 caps a day. i stopped my last cycle about a month ago and about a week after stopping i noticed lights were a little brighter than usual and things in the distance were appearing blurry. i knew something was wrong with my eyes (i have always had 100% perfect vision) but did not even THINK that dnp could be the culprit. i went to eye doctor and after doing tests for a while she told me i had cataracts in both eyes, my left worse than the right. i am only 22 for the record with no family history of cataracts or eye issues. IMMEDIATELY i remembered reading that cataracts was a possible issue if using dnp. i was terrified, absolutely mortified, i still am scared considering i just found all this out last week. i have surgery next month and all should be okay after that. if u want to use DNP just know, yes it works 100% unreal, the best there is for burning fat, but sometimes, especially in this case, if u want unbelievable results, they are not free.

Although there is no 100% on this, I have also read that there was a positive link between DNP and cataracts.

I'm not sure why anyone would bother with such a harsh compound anyway. If you're not competing at the top level, there is literally no good reason to use DNP over a simple Clen run and a diet adjustment.

Best of luck with the surgery.

thanks i appreciate it guys. i have to believe that its probably because of the high doses and long runs i was doing with dnp (sometimes 2 months at a time). it works, like a charm, the best there is for burning fat, but now im paying for it. i really just hope my eye sight goes back to normal after the surgery.

the doctor told me i would be fine after the surgery. apparently it is the most common surgery in the united states. im not worried, it just sucks, i cant see shit right now, i have to put my face 4-5 inches from the screen just to see what im typing. unreal. has anyone else experienced this from dnp or am i the only one?

No I was talking to one of my friends he has done a couple of contest he said dnp should be avoided at all cost he says even most pros avoid it

A couple contests? Well then by all means listen to every word that comes out of his mouth and take it as scripture!

DNP, A handful of deaths associated to it over many years...

ASPIRIN, average of 600 deaths a year!

The "danger" of the compound is what lies between the users ears! Educate youself.

I was just searching around since my vision has been worse since taking DNP, looking for similar stories to see if it could possibly be related at all.
I'm also 22.

Never took DNP before, took it for 1 day at 500mgs then 250mgs next day and got a fever (DNP fever or real idk) and triggered strep throat virus I think so I stopped.

Now I notice blurry vision at distances I used to be able to see, and more trouble seeing at night. Even if it's unrelated to DNP it's fucking annoying and I will probably have to get glasses. I will just add checking for cataracts to the list before I go straight to get tested for glasses I guess.

Stay the fuck away! Ignoring the very low LD50 of DNP, cataracts really aren't as rare as DNP advocates make them out to be. And they don't start to develop until weeks after you cease use so there really is nothing you can do to prevent it once it starts. You just have to sit back and slowly let yourself go blind until they're done forming. Many times surgery doesn't even bring your vision back to what it initially was.

Again, to anyone considering DNP, STAY THE FUCK AWAY!

If you research some of my post history you will see I had the same outcome from DNP... Cataracts.

contrary to what the OP said about cataract surgery. Although a simple procedure... count on some sort of reading glasses for use of computers or reading small print. Fitting an IOL does not give you perfect vision both close and Far.

to be afflicted with this malady at the young age of 22... is definitely a game changer. Even at my age of 40... and an active lifestyle. It has become a life style change and huge hinderance for me.

Too bad the OP hasn't been on here in a year and a half - I'd like to hear how his eye sight has held up in the time since he posted this.

I have heard too many warnings about DNP to try it, myself.

I know, I know..

I dose it at 250 for 4 days then 500 for 4 days that was long enough. To promise myself I would never touch that shit again!

DNP It builds up, it has a really long halflife if this halflife is accurate.

Understanding how to keep the dose low requires math which is not popular among contemporary bro scientists. (admittedly myself included)
Anyway,

This steroidology post cites a 36 hour half life.

"at 200 mg every day the peak level will be 540 mg...
@ day 6 you will already be over 500 mg...!"

Read this a few times, 200 mg every day peak levels will be over 540mgs.

If you do the math... 250 for 4 days then 500 for 4 days is far more than 500 in your body day 5 even.

I'm just waiting to see if my vision eventually returns to normal, give it a month or two then go see a doctor. If it helps anyone to know this I am NOT FEMALE, I am male. So that's not a factor in why I could have vision problems (there are studies that talk of only females getting cataracts)
