Funny, some time ago I wrote a detailed opinion I have about SRC's and the cycle they go through. At the time there was alot of SRC stroking going on and the fact Ive been around for quite some time and witnessed the cycle over and over, it was shot down by the new kids saying I didnt know what I was talking about and SRC's like PEP and Bio will be around forever...hmmm...

Anyways, I agree with the OP. Its always just a matter of time. Ive been lucky to have some amazing private sources that have held up well over time. Im not delusional and think their magically an exception to the rule either.

The art is in reading the signs and a little luck. Obviously having a place like what Millard has created helps us "see" the signs and know when its time to move on.

Not trying to start an argument but we must remember, there is no sure way or answer to proving a SRCs is legit. The COC and testing are all good tools but we mustn't become over reliant on those. It takes an almost 6th sense to "see it coming."

Actually Naps did help with the hospital bill. Im not sure on the final arraignment because I was out of it when they began talking. Also replaced the gear with another lab.

That was an interesting read. Even if I never pin again in this lifetime I think I will keep coming back to this site. The world of the UGL is a fascinating journey in reading and learning. More plot twists than a Scorsese picture.

I have had some recent conversation with members of meso, outside of meso, about meso. I understand that any administrator/owner wants traffic. .. having done some seo in my past I often marvel at millard's mastery of the ironclad secret of Google's algorithms for seatch results... he does an excellnt job and has some truly, truly innovative shit going on to raise his rankings (which are virtually always #1). I have heard from admins and mods- right from their mouths that they are green with envy over our traffic. If you look at the numbers of people viewing at any one time it truly boggles the mind how many "researchers" constantly peruse the sight that are not active members. Kudos Millard.

I often hear him refer to this as an experiment. He either has no expectations or keeps them closely guarded as to how he defines success with the "experiment" (I assume traffic... maybe he was just waiting for someone special like me to post every day.... either way he is #winning) and how he hopes it will turn out. He seems largely concerned with providing a conduit for the unfettered flow of sensitive information in a culture that is 100% censored. So many fucking mods are on a powertrip. Get lippy and get banned. Negative source feedback? Bye bye comments and your ass. That security whether it is financially based by kickbacks or simply an ego trip based on power to "control" a people or an outcome is very hard to impossible for these admins to abandon.

I say- why let sources source here? I understand that might hurt traffic, but if you become an informational hub for testing and feedback- an underground based on reviewing EVERY SOURCE why wouldn't people still come? Man- I dream of the day I could just tell every tom, dick and scammer to just get the fuck out of here. Bye. And what better way to do that than to focus on a topic I enjoy and in a community that I identify with more than almost any other group. The goals include education, harm reduction, political awareness and activism among others.

Traffic is an explicit goal. The more people that MESO can reach, the greater the positive impact it can have on the AAS subculture.

SEO is important too but MESO has no secret tactics. A few years ago, MESO's traffic dropped 50% literally overnight due to a change in Google's algorithm. This made it clear that MESO had to better understand Google. We basically read and re-read the extensive documentation provided by Google (Google webmaster guidelines), studied it and learned how to implement it. After we learned how to do that, we basically focused on producing high-quality, original content and have been doing so ever since. It's all about producing high-quality content to complement community building; the non-forum content receives as much traffic as the forum.

I don't disagree at all with your sentiment regarding sources. The "steroid underground" subforum was not created for them as a marketing forum. It was created for the community to discuss sources for informational purposes. That is an important distinction that hasn't always been readily apparent to everyone.

However, in the interest of free speech, I think it is important to allow all sides to be represented. This is why the participation of sources in the dialogue is permitted. This provides visitors with as much relevant information as possible that can be used to make decisions.

I cringe every time I hear someone say "meso sources" or "sources affiliated with meso" when referring to some of the sources participating in the forum. MESO is not a "source forum" or a source-driven forum.

The forum's freedom of speech and lack of moderation was intended to make the community entirely independent and unbeholden to sources; I think over time, the forum has increasingly understood, appreciated and made the most of this independence.

The MESO "experiment" has evolved beautifully. Too much undeserved credit is sent my way for this. MESO may have provided the platform. But the forum is 100% community-driven. It's what the community needs. It's what the community wants. It's a reflection of the hard work of the community itself. Thank YOU! Together we ARE making a difference!

When my friend was hospitalized with an infection I asked Millard what to do. If it should be posted on the open forum. Obviously there was always a chance it wasnt NAPS gear. We decided it was serious enough to put the information out for the members. Turns out (this is from memory) others got some small infections from the same gear.

NAPS doesnt make gear they are a reseller...ugh I cant believe I have to spell this out.

Resolution to situation between my friend and NAPS: After doctors bills were verified NAPS covered the insurance deductible.

My opinion is that was an honorable thing for NAPS to do.

What thread? I never saw it. Ive never unsolicited any information. Ive probably been asked through PM a handful of times who I would recommend and Ive only ever mentioned ones that were on our forum that I believed to be good.
