On an off cycle though or following PCT the Testosterone Test would be far cheaper through your insurance than the $69 quoted. It’s notnchrcking your E2, but to at least know if your test is in range for roughly $30-$40 (Quest’s insurance contracted rate) is worth it to me. After paying for the test from privatemdlabs and then paying the laboratory itself, you’re way ahead financially with the Quest direct. But the con is not having E2 checked.
I must be doing something you’re not. I pay once; the lab request you get from these sites pays the lab doing the work. You’re paying privateMD for the req and then you have to pay Quest for the labwork. If you go to Quest with the direct test, you pay once.
You’re paying privateMD for the req and then you have to pay Quest for the labwork. If you go to Quest with the direct test, you pay once.
Or am I totally misunderstanding privateMD, @bickel29? My understanding is that you pay privateMD for the req and then you go to Quest who then charges you for the bloodwork analysis.
Mr. T-bag, I PITY THE FOOL WHO PAYS BOTH Privatemdlabs AND the laboratory for your testing.
My prediction for anybody who tries to make me pay both Privatemdlabs AND the lab for this testing? PAIN!
If you're reading this and don't get the reference above and don't know who Mr. T is, first of all youre not a real man and second of all, watch the clip below.
But seriously T-bag my good man, you don't pay the lab ANYTHING when using Privatemdlabs. You just pay Privatemdlabs for the testing at the time you order your tests online, and then you show up at the lab and do the blood draw and leave without paying them anything. They send the results to Privatemdlabs who email the results to you.
The lab is paid by Privatemdlabs out of the money you already paid them.
I PITY DA FOO!!!!
Thanks for clearing that up. I was of the (mis)understanding that you paid twice. In which case, you’re right my man - it’s a better deal for your money.
Interesting. Thanks for the info bro.You need a Doctor's order to submit for insurance billing.
