Need help for my boy. He has bad allergy n vet would not prescribe his apoquel because she wants to see him but can’t becuae he is so aggressive even to me and I can’t muzzle him or he turns aggressive to me n it fkn sucks because he’s a a good dog n suffering for no reason if he be we are just trying to help. The trans don’t effect him how they did when first using them. They put him on his ass but now he is immune or something. Can’t anyone help with this situation. Not trying to put him doWn

He has been to the vet and they were perscribing me his meds n then needed to see him after a year or so n just had been was to crazy trying to bring him in. For his sore we wash him in epson salt helps a lot but needs meds never will heal.

Well you're gonna have to get him to the vet. I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't already know. Maybe you could give him a sedative before taking him?

Have you tried switching your dog's food? Wish I had better advice for you.

My lab Sheppard mix needs alprazolam to go. I want to say she needs 1mg and it still doesn't even do much. Muzzle needed every time, she freaks out badly. We are probably going to have a vet come to the house rather than take her in from now on.

Look into the prey model diet ,it clear my dog allergies and made him healthier and happier .the best decision i made

Yea the fkd up thing was at first when I was taking him the tranqs were working now he fights them lol like wtf I don’t no how that’s possible. Gave him three I had to pick him up off the couch n put him in the car n he never lets anyone pick him up off the ground. That’s how I no he was out of it. Now I give him three he’s all jumpin around like fk how am I gonna get the muzzle on lol or even take him. It’s fkd up. I got a private allergy / dog trainer specialist so hopefully he will be able to hook it up.

Hey bro, it sounds like you have no control over your dog and he doesn't respect you! It dont matter the history of the dog if you dont put in the time!i hope its not a bully breed we dont need no more negativity.

Have no issue other then the taking him to vet. He becomes very aggressive and he at his age n size is not going to be easy to break. Yes he is a bully. My female is fine she wasn’t as dominate as he was growing up but I broke her didn’t take much but as I was trying to train him as a pup you have to show them who is running the show. Not in a abusive way but in alpha who’s in charge and he was very stubborn n is def alpha of alphas. My girl would fkn constintly fight with me so I fkn gave up let her fkn deal with him n came out a fkn spoiled little shit. Lol n at this time I’m not trying to fkn get bit by his ass for fkn challenging if that’s the case I put him to fkn sleep but yes n no to ur answer it’s not like he’s a bad dog other then that very fact so as far as out of control I don’t no where u going with that.

My sister's dog has severe anxiety from thunderstorms -- shakes, (almost vibrates with how fast he shakes) hides under furniture, all wide eyed -- the vet prescribed Valium for him.

Maybe try that, or ask your vet? Helped a lot with his anxiety.

He def has anxiety. Honestly used some cbd treats n occasionally a hit when I’m smoking really mellows him out n he likes it my female hate it soon as we smoke she ups n leaves but I will try that doesn’t hurt. Just prob getting anything perscribed now cuz they want to see him n that’s where the issues come into play cuznif I had his allergy meds he be all good which also makes him aggressive n more arritable when he’s all itchy n shit

Was def looking into raw food diet. Just a little costly for his portion but if it makes night n day difference talk worth it

Just prob getting anything perscribed now cuz they want to see him n that’s where the issues come into play cuznif I had his allergy meds he be all good which also makes him aggressive n more arritable when he’s all itchy n shit

She gives him CBD daily, and the Valium only during in storms. He still freaks out a bit, but then he can actually fall asleep.

I wish you all the best in figuring this out, sucks when the dogs health is at risk because of his behavior.

I got my dog used to a muzzle by making it loose enough that he could lick peanut butter off a spoon with it on and would just leave it on for 5-10 minutes at a time for no reason.

Now he gets so excited for the peanut butter that he forgets it's to get his nails done and actually will stick his face in the muzzle willingly.

What motivates your dog the most? Use that manipulate him into doing what you need.
