They can sell a bottle of test for $35 and make it for about $2. Thats $33 profit on one vial of test. I imagine it is pretty lucrative
$2 seems a bit low, but you're probably right. I wonder how much, in terms of volume, they sell a month. Few hundred vials? Few thousand? I don't even know.

I'll bet 24k was cleaning up in his prime.
I mean people were dropping 1,000 orders like no big deal.

Absolutely.
They wouldn't take that level of risk if it didn't pay off handsomely.

Even though it's a niche market, if you're pulling down even as little as 5k a month, it beat's the hell out of working a 9-5 and constantly having to eat shit to survive.

Yes real low as you have cost of manufacturing, paying reps if you go that route, some UGL have free shipping and that's an additional cost right there, waste, seize and replace, etc.

They don't make that much profit per bottle, they do make up with volume.

Your average street/gym hustler makes more per bottle than the lab that's for sure.

Five Charged In Steroid Distribution Conspiracy

Jacksonville, FL – United States Attorney A. Lee Bentley, III announces the unsealing of an indictment charging Donald McCloud Long (50), Sarah Ann Long (33), Armando F. Aman (37), all of Jacksonville, and Shelby Travis Phillips (26, Savannah, GA) with conspiracy to manufacture, distribute and possess with the intent to distribute, anabolic steroids. Taylor Salvione (25, Gloversville, NY) was also charged separately for the same offense. If convicted, each faces a 10-year term of imprisonment and a $500,000 fine.

According to the indictment, from in or about December 2013, through on or about September 27, 2016, the defendants conspired to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute anabolic steroids, a Schedule III controlled substance. Salvione is charged with participating in the conspiracy from March 2015 through April 2016.

An indictment is merely a formal charge that a defendant has committed one or more violations of federal criminal law, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless, and until, proven guilty.

These cases were part of Operation Total Package, led by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It was a collaboration among the DEA, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, the Green Cove Springs Police Department, the Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation, and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kelly S. Karase.

His bodybuilding career was notable because he retired in 1999 after suffering kidney failure, had an failed kidney transplant and returned to IFBB competition from 2006-2009 while on dialysis. He's since had another successful kidney transplant, gotten married (wife named as co-conspirator) and started a successful contest prep business in Florida with several IFBB pros as clients. USADA has apparently taken an interest in the case most likely due to his advertised connection to the NFL.

Nobody has caught it only mentions a conspiracy
No mention of any gear being confiscated.

A Did they try to buy ("the vast amount of") 50 grams of raw powder from an undercover agent?
B They tried to buy a kilo from a chinese source who in turn is snitching for large purchases? This one is scary as hell.

They forgot to include the Army, Marines, Navy, Air force, National Guard, Coast guard, Secret Service, Fashion police, etc

Something like this

But with a mile long feds line

Yep
they are "only" asking for 10 years
not the usual 20 years
15 for selling Schedule III drugs (steroids)
plus 5 for money laundering
so it poinst to just a conspiracy

20 years? Where did you get that info?

Conspiracy involves actively planning with others to possess or distribute a controlled substance, regardless of actual possession or delivery. This is typically the most serious type of drug accusation and usually involves multiple defendants and large quantities of drugs and can be extremely serious and complicated.

Did you even read the indictment. yes they obtained and defendants possessed a mixture and substance containing delectable amount of a controlled substance, that is, anabolic steroids.

I missed the money laundering part? Can you point that out for me?
