I've had issues sending birthday money to my son via MG. Said it was for "my protection." However, I have never had an issue with WU. The Kiosk recommendation is a great thing to do. If something is spelled wrong, you either fat fingered it, or got the wrong receiver spelling to begin with. I will conclude with this, if the source doesn't give clear directions on what to do, I wouldn't order from them. They should be telling you to say "you know the receiver personally and it's not for goods and services." Don't be sorry for sure. Skull said it best!!

I'm glad I read that you can do the whole moneygram process yourself from a kiosk... Is there's some specific stores/places to find these do it yourself moneygram... Last time I sent the guy got 1 letter wrong so I had to go back the next day, of course it was the same guy as yesterday so we went through the whole process and it the end he made me double check the info, and what do ya know, he spelled it wrong again.. So had to re do it again... Hahaha

im not sure if you can search on their website or not.

I just know I'm my area the drug stores have them. All CVS have the MG Kiosk and a rite aid has the WU.

OK, thank you. I sent money to a well known source who was domestic, but the money receiver was in China. I also talked to a number of people on here that had a similar thing happen to them. It's just bad luck and it seemed to happen a lot in a short period of time. Seems like that's how they were cracking down at the time.

The question was asked about why people didn't like using MG and WU. I wanted members to know the potential risks of using it.

I am sorry to get so defensive, but I am a man of my word, I have done a lot and been through a lot to be the respected man I am today. I sometimes forget this is the internet and I am just another shmuck on here. If u knew me personally I think you would understand.
