All those services are regular mail.
And no, I've received tracking numbers more times than I want to say from both retailers and private parties via places like gunbroker. Its common and legal.
same applies to long guns or handguns where I’m from other than handguns requiring a federal firearms purchase permit per purchase vs. just being able to buy a rifle with your FID card that you always have on hand.
I guess regular mail in my head isn’t the same as registered overnight/next day certified w/e each carrier calls it. Still require the same procedure via mailing to FFL from an FFL. I can’t speak for every state though. That’s crazy you get tracking #s for gun purchases. I’m a bit jealous; I’ve always been told it’s against policy.
