First off, before simply saying eat more, please read thru. I'll put notes at the end.
Started my journey at 145lbs, over the course if several years I reached 200lbs naturally. Began cycling, yes soon, but what's done is done. I reached 215 within the first year or two, began blasting and cruising for various reasons.
I did a 2.5yr run of doxycycline 1/2013-8/2015)for acne prescribed by my dermatologist until I realized just how bad it was to run an antibiotic for that long. I tapered off, pushed alot of fermented food and probiotics, still take probiotic daily.
Since 1/2013 my weight has been between 215-227 no matter what I do. I've worked with 3-4 different coaches with different diet approaches, training methods, and supplement/gear protocols and none of them could push me past that 227 mark. Even have one coach add in a good amount of dirty calories and multiple chest meals.
On two different occasions I focused on leaning out, got down to single digits at about 205lbs....once tried reverse dieting back up under the watch of Shelby on cycle and even with slin, hit that 225lb mark and there I sat... Changed this and that, added more food here more there, weight didn't budge.
Fast forward to the next time I dieter down. Again single digits at 205lbs....reverse dieted back up to 220 while just cruising and my weight sat there... Upped my food.. Still sat there.
Started a blast... 225-227 and still just at a wall. 8 meals a day. Clean whole food. Pretty solid meals ex 7oz 93% beef 16oz sweet potatoes 1 cup veggies etc eating every 2 hours starting right when I get up. Pre, intra, and post workout nutrition is pretty solid.
Pushing considerably more food than a few of my friends who are my weight or more, they're growing, I'm not.
Now I know the standard answer is eat more and yes, black and white that makes sense. But when I look at how much food I put down, or have at different points, something doesn't add up.
My thought is maybe there's something else going on with my system/my body that I'm not aware of that could be inhibiting me from growing past this point.
If anyone could give some educated input I would greatly appreciate it. I'm extremely disciplined with my diet, my training, my sleep everything. No problem pushing mass amounts of food every couple hours but something has to give.
Thank you in advance.

-rather than the typical "eat more" is it possible something else may be inhibiting growth?
