But, if your testing advancement is going to happen o not, I doubt it would depend on Spaceman 's interventions against it.

I understand there will always be differing sides and factions to this issue. The communication challenges are disappointing....but sparked by ongoing passive aggressive (and also aggressive) snarky comments about one person's manner in which they choose to pursue harm reduction.

I respect Readalots mission and the data is seeking to push forward into the mainstream.

It is also possible to respect Narta's contributions to home brewing...and Spaceman's sharing of testing data etc.

I wish there was always a simpler way to "disagree" without leading to outright disdain for each other but I think we'd have to file that under "Imagine" by John Lennon or some shit.

Appreciate the efforts you all bring to the forum and hope there is some way to just find a way to "agree to disagree" while still finding a way to engage in some meaningful dialogue....just my opinion. Your post implies equal responsibility in this ongoing issue. As if the accountability is shared equally. Nothing could be further from the truth. These folks came after me and what was trying to be accomplished. Not the other way around.

Contrary to popular altruistic belief, charity (and fundraising for it) absolutely involves public shaming by society. The majority of people for better or for worse, without the shame of the society around them, do not do what is “good for the sake of being good”, and it is the community pressuring that individual that leads to the positive act.

Not commenting on the rest of people’s gripes as I frankly have clearly missed some discussions here but I am genuinely confused by why people keep acting like readalot shaking down sources for charity is some horrid thing.

You are absolutely right, I left the other places (TNation/ExcelMale) due to naked financial self interest on the part of the owner (I am still going strong at SST). Another member approached GA. No answer.

I approached Axle. $500.

I asked QSC, declined.

Opti appears to have done it on his own. $1000.

Yet, I am accused of shaking down sources. No accusation with other member who approached GA. Zero harassment of vendors happened.

Yes, this whole thing stinks, and the motives are becoming clear in my mind. Not having it anymore. Bad actors here. Period.

I’m not sure what the problem here is either.

Whilst Anabolic Lab was operating, members would pressure sources to contribute to that without once ever being accused of “shaking down sources” or being accused of using that to self-promote themselves. No doubt some did participated in this to help establish / further their “forum cred”, but no one gave a single fuck what their motives were because what mattered was the donation.
