this, best practice.best of both worlds reallyI guess the best practice would be to ask your source before placing your order if he is cool with you using a fake name, and if he will reship if the pack doesn't make it to you.
It is my experience that the vast majority of sources are going to tell you no, they will not reship if this occurs.
How about this for a matter ... the vendor gives the buyer a fake name for sending money. He cant get the money because he is asked for ID. The buyer also used a fake name... Who's fault is it? The source right?
Now, the buyer gives a fake name and package is not getting to him. Source is scammer right? Or he agrees to reship, lets say, for the sake of the game, and the reship is not getting to destination. He has to reship again? How many times is it convenient to reship? 3-4-5 times? Then refund maybe? How about just give the "fake ship name guy" 2-300 dollars not to bother him... its the same loss without the headache.
How about this for an idea! Want to use a fake name? Go rent a PO Box under a fake name. Then everybody is happy
On another note ... a guy gave an address without the zipcode. Package did not arrive. Nor a seizure letter. Who's fault is it? If its UK its even worse. They have a very clever zip code system. If you put the right zip code in the GPS for examp[ple it will take you right in front of the building door! On the correct side of the street even! Who's to blame now?
well, its good to have alot of this worked out in advance. I appreciate a clear reship policy, not some vague policy where its a crapshoot on weather your made whole based on whatever.
If you use a fake name, its on the sender with WU cause again shit happens, receivers get flagged, mistakes made, again whatever. How you want the transaction to get carried out should get spelled out by the source. Money in minutes,no secret question, pay in drakmas, etc. Idiot proof instructions. For a first time user WU can be a little intimidating.
I dont know about the zipcode thing. I dont expect you to know everything about every countries postal service, but if I forgot to include my zip, I would hope you wouldnt send the pack out and try and contact me.
thats very cool about the gps thing btw
