Does anyone have experience/knowledge on some of the blood pressure medications on pharmacists list? My bp is going from around 140/90 to 160/100 and essentially my doctor will not do anything for me if I'm taking aas. So I'm going to take it into my own hands and would appreciate anyone's input. And a side note, I did stop my cycle half way through because of my bp but it's still high.

Have you managed your BP from your house at different times of the day??? My BP was high as fuck every time I went to the doctors office. But every time i did it at home it was perfect. It's anxiety. Not saying that it's your scenario but it does happen. Get a BP wrist monitor and start checking it before work, after work, before bed and write them down.

download the davis' drug guide for nurses if you have an iphone. its free. look up the meds and its tells you everything. contradindications, interactions, dosages, side effects , warnings. itsll show the safe dosage ranges too.

id just star with furosemide and see how that works before messing with beta blockers, or ace inhibitors. its just a diuretic. if anything you obviously need to stay hydrated and occasionally get metabolic panel to make sure your electrolytes are in range like your potassium, calcium, mag and sodium.

I was on a diuretic and it wasn't really cutting it for me at max dose of 25mg.
Ended up in er with severe dehydration after spending the previous day on the beach with a few drinks.
On ace inhibitor now at 4mg and blood pressure is perfect! Thinking I could even drop to 2mg.
My bp was normally up around 140/100 and 150/110 + at dr office

I should mention, no noticeable sides. And beta blockers suck! The life out of people!!

Common side effect of the med...restlessness, loss of interest or pleasure in things you normally enjoy, depression, aggression, frustration. Had to stop taking it after 2-3 weeks before I hurt someone.

Right...haha!
But all joking aside I was picking fights with my girl on a daily basis n it was over the most stupid n pointless shit. I didn't even realize I was doing it til my brother pointed out I was being a dick. And to top it off it didn't help me quit smoking either
