Exogenous insulin and lipolysis

I thought about micro managing my insulin shots to keep my blood glucose levels somewhere between 60-85 most time of the day, but I also read that insulin (endogenous and exogenous) hinders or even stops lipolysis, which I can’t imagine being true tho.

I did also think, keeping my blood glucose levels extremely low (around 50-60) while doing cardio for example would „force“ my body in some kind of „emergency“ mode and „force“ it to burn fat to not die? I mean, to m understanding, there is no glucose in my blood and steroids protect protein / muscle from being burned. Or am I wrong?

You’re going to keep your insulin receptors permanently bombarded with insulin and drive yourself into resistance.

You’re also making a science project out of a simple concept. Less drugs man. I promise.

Biggest and most shredded guys on the planet do it without these insane micro-managing protocols. Why do you think you need them?

You want to keep your glucose around 60 mg/dL? That’s a hypo man… you won’t feel well on those numbers and it’s dangerous too.

Around 100 mg/dL is the normal range you should be in. But that’s pretty hard to manage. Adding insulin (imo) is only beneficial when you are bulking large amounts of carbs.

You only burn fat when you eat less calories than you need on a daily basis, don’t see how insulin is going to help with that

Okay - thank you :)

So I just stay on my basal and pre workout Novo? No Insulin for the rest of the day / on off days?

A friend of mine told me, his coach lets him drop his Insulin pre cardio to burn more fat. That’s nonsense too? His coach said many pros would do that. But I got no idea wether or not that is true - that’s why I am asking you :)

Been around 52 today while doing cardio. Sweating like crazy, could not drive fast on my bike - and got problems with the hearing. I realized that was a bad idea lol.

Oh and yea, I know I need to be in a deficit - which I am :) just thought I better be using Insulin to keep my blood glucose in range as I recklessly abused it in my bulk for like 2 years now. I guess when I just stop using it it would be no good idea.
