...WHATS UP! WHATS UP NC I SEE YOU!!

@Bmae1 uve never played in snow?come on up here or better yet I will send u some in the mail for you and your kids haha
snowcream is my jamI've never actually played in it. No snowmen or snow balls. It's on my bucket list although I'm not sure how I'd handle it. Anything below 60 degrees is freezing to me .
All my brothers drive 4door Tacomas...rock solid trucks. We share an older one that's got a lil over 200k on it as a farm truck, we fabricated a ladder rack on it and a couple sheets of plywood and camo netting transform it into a mobile shooting platform. So not a hole lot happening in the way of outdoors for me right now with me bum leg but you guys started talking about trucks and boots and I can do that. I know y'all are big on the old domestic 4x4s but I love my yota and it has taken me to some pretty amazing places, just shy of 100k on it now and I'd say about 30k of that isn't on pavement so it's done good for meView attachment 38906
Goodyear wrangler duratrac for my rubber they suck dick on pavement but are untouched in snow and do a fine ass job in mud and climbing.
As for boots I put some serious Miles on my footwear year after year and have to be able to rely on them 14+ days in the middle of nowhere without blowouts. I've own hikers, mountaineering boots service boots but my favourite boot that can beat Canada's outdoors is the "whites smoke jumpers 10"" has an anatomical foot bed made from cork so no insert required and no gummy feeling when wet, they are full leather and fire rated so tough as nails and waterproof up to the top due to the fire shield tongue on them. There is about 12 different fits for each size so it's defiantly a boot to get pro fitted and at 600 bucks you don't want to guess wrong lol.
TEK ever done any bow hunting? I took a trip 2 years ago with my longbow and made some decent shots, never took down anything large but I did have a shot at an elk open season hit at 40 yards with traditional bow I didn't want to risk a wound shot my confidence plumits past 30 yards with the bow for the "just in case" factor
snow, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract...This?? 1st time Ive ever heard of it, I actually had to google it.
Won't be long my wife will be working full time. She'll need some wheels. We are a truck family. Trucks last. I was looking at a tacoma for her. Even a fully loaded trd is only low $30,000 new. That's the biggest attraction. It'll make a nice truck. you can 300k on a tacoma easily, their resale value is unprecedented, and they are great for the tighter areas my fullsize cant get around in. Ya I know...my pride doesn't allow me to recognize them. But I do have it on the table. Things that suck is the plastic beds tacoma have and they ain't got no ass. Meaning head on collision. Tacoma loses. Fuck crash tests. A jeep JK is on the table as well. Probably in the lead tbh. Shes a great driver. Been my copilot on several official off road excursions. Roush Creek and others. Wanna try the Rubicon next. Don't wanna spend a fortune on a 4x4 either. I'm gonna get a stick tho (she don't know it yet) and teach her. That art is dying. And toyota still makes a stickyou can 300k on a tacoma easily, their resale value is unprecedented, and they are great for the tighter areas my fullsize cant get around in. Bad mf trail trucks.
Nah do what you do alpha dog. Small ain't got much to do with it. I dig small. Rangers are bad fucking ass. So was the s10 ZR2. Jeeps are the best for dedicated offroad use and fun as hell. I just don't support da toyota if I can avoid itOuch gotta throw it out there eh. I think about it this way though I'm a smal male so I need a small truck if I were of larger stature maybe I'd look into a larger truck
. Ya I got the fully loaded trd off road with some upgrades under it too, thing is solid and holds its value real well.
frontiers/tacomas crush the mid size market. They are great for tight trails, dependable, and hold their value. Being 6'2 I find that the midsize driver side is too narrow for me for everyday. I can/have done it but prefer them Ford seats and having a fullsize bed for the double dog box, and still have room for gear. Plus the payload capacity for projects is a must have. I got the V6 twin turbo screw so I still get good mileage for fullsize but it will roast those 35s. Cant beat the tacomas for the trail though, I take it everywhere I access with an 4wheelerOuch gotta throw it out there eh. Straight drive is the way, especially for around here. They didnt offer it in the ecoboost but it has a little triptronic push button deal and I use it in daily driving to keep the wear off my brakes in these hills.Ya I know...my pride doesn't allow me to recognize them.
