I asked whether free gear was given to any of the veteran members who have reviewed your products recently.

Per your question, I would bet that some vets did receive free gear. Nevertheless GETM is, I suspect, g2g. I will know for sure soon.

Why is there a stronger endorsement, by several well-known vets, then a company like SF? I don’t know, I never ordered from SF, and I just placed my first order with GETM. I’m still waiting on an order confirmation. It appears that Dan is out sick (allergies), or backed up, or whatever.

There could be a lot of reasons for the senior vet endorsement, and the lack of the usual UGL skepticism.

1. Maybe the gear is better, or the service (This hasn’t been my experience with service and communication to date)
2. Maybe there are some relationships with the lab, staff - i.e., there is a higher confidence due to these relationships.
3. Or there could be many other reasons, too many to list… lets hope free gear isn't one of them (I don't think it is).

As far as transparency, admittance, double standards, etc. Who know?

What I do know is that integrity is doing the right thing even if nobody knows.

I don't see it as a big deal if some guys got free gear and said it was g2g. What's the problem?

I ordered from SF a while back mostly because I liked the rep. When people were questioning/attacking him on the SF thread he gave good answers that satisfied the question and defended his stance.

I'm interested in your orals but you not answering questions on your own thread isn't giving me the warm and fuzzy feeling in my belly that I like to have when dealing with someone new.

I'm no vet but I have been referred to this lab by a well respected vet here before it came here and I can confidently say I stand behind it. I still have to post lab work for this lab but that won't be for awhile since I just finished a cycle.

One emotional person took the question too far by doing what he has accused others of; stating his assumptions as if they were facts.

All other people asking questions in this thread have stated that they DO NOT believe anyone took a "free gear for positive review" deal.

If Dan would just say so, the issue would end immediately, it is his avoidance that has prolonged and over-dramatized the issue.

The primary point of contention is whether CBH is a company plant and you know that also.

The secondary issue is whether the documentation I provided regarding CBH is adequate to refer to a virtual unknown (a noob with 35 posts whom continues to do his very best antagonizing long term vets on this board) as a shill, I believe it is others disagree, so what!

The tertiary effect, what criteria if any excepting experience and "instinct" should be used to define an individual (like we need a double blinded trial so often used in medicine) as a shill.

Apparently believing the "evidence required" was similar between the shill doctrine and unequivocally stating some vets received "free gear". I simply asked you to provide some or ANY form of documentation that is indeed true, or perhaps your revisiting your soothsayer profession.

Now you've said in your post to Dan the vet's whom "received free gear" had "impeccable character" and you "already KNOW the answer to this question" but would give him a chance to reply. Moreover although in the same post you mention "for the record, I don't care that the gear was free, and I don't think it's a big deal". However on page 8 of the YJGenerics thread you clearly infer GETM's failure to mention "free gear was given to vet" is DECEIT BY OMISSION (which seems contradictory since no malfeasance was involved).

So;
First, Stretch can you provide any documentation these vets received "free gear" or NOT (recall you told Dan his commentary wasn't required anyway)

Second, IF these vets received free gear and GETM failed to announce it, was that a deceitful (although no malfeasance occurred) business practice or is it "really not a big deal"

Third is their any doubt about the reliability, credibility and veracity of those "suspect vets" such that their GETM reviews are in doubt regardless whether the gear was paid for or acquired pro-bono?

Lastly SHIT, this is a no win situation for any lab because opinions differ remarkably. I mean if they say NOPE we don't give away free gear .... they will be called liars by some for sure, yet if they say yea we did ..... they will be called deceitful.

Personally I really don't care if you chose to answer any of the questions posed since this whole debate has aided no one.

Hey fella...I'm thinking you're not understanding what a shill/plant is. I got this companies gear before they reared their heads on this board. They've been around.
Now, a respected member of the community asked me if I'd like to try a companies stuff. We're cordial. I said, sure. This place decided to go public here. Whatever, I'm not pushing it, i gave my opinion on it. I got it from a friend.
Also, seeing as how I've been here for more than a minute, my saying things are good is putting my ass on the line...unlike some flash in the pan who has just signed up spewing how wonderful a spot is.

I agree that full disclosure is good. Full disclosure is ALWAYS good. Why? Because it helps to build trust. I believe BB has been pretty honest with everyone. Vets with a consistent track record of being honest and upfront, in my opinion, their endorsement is considerable. Vets that are not upfront, personally, I am less likely to trust their endorsement.

In any case, I don't understand the need for contentious comments.

Just do your own fucking homework, and everything will be fine. Even "vets" get burned sometimes. It is a part of this whole deal. I've been in the AAS game for 15 years, but I'm a board noob. Never been a seller or anything, but believe me, before internet orders, new guys in the gym got ripped of by big guys all the time. Big guys get ripped off too, and you'd be surprised how many straight jacked bros there are that have no idea/care what they are putting in their bodies....just get 'em the juice. There are scumbags everywhere. Anyone who says they have never bought ANY bunk gear is a fucking liar, or a straight up noob who got lucky once or twice.

Cross check your references, do a little research, no what the fuck you are talking about, and have a little common/street sense....
