Gear review

So found out a neat piece of equipment today it's called a WODlift, basically makes any flat shoe into a lifting shoe and is really comfortable so if you don't want to buy healed shoes this might be for you OR if you are like me and have destroyed either your ankle and or knee and Olympic lifting shoes aren't quit enough heal height to polish off your mobility then you can insert these into you only shoes. Honestly they are truly amazing my buddy had a pair at the gym and he could see during my snatch and squat my heal still comes off the ground when I go ATG due to my ankle being as fucked as a 20$ street girl. I'm buying two pairs tonight so I can put them in my oly shoes perminantly and have an extra for my flat shoes if I'm not doing a lot of squats and only want to bring one pair of shoes. THIS FIXED MY MOBILITY ISSUES 100% ON SQUAT AND OLYMPIC LIFTS honestly can't reccomend enough and I know I sound like an infomercial but you guys know me and I know there are some beat up folks that could utilize this.

Going to toss this same write up in the squat thread and the powerlifting corner

I was a member when he first opened. I just came back. my spot in the next town over turned into a bitch gym

he is a good kid. his dad is the shit too. he helped coach my kid in football. I'm happy to see that his place has lasted and grown. it's a good place to be if you want to grow.
nice to meet you.

Did a powerlifting meet on Saturday. Hadn't done one in years. Got first in my weight class. Weighed 213lbs. Had a small total of 1256. On ALL of my 3rd attempts it didn't even look hard. I fucked up. I could of easily made it a 1350lbs total. Ehhh live and learn right?

Anyhow, the whole time at the meet people kept asking me about my sabbo Deadlift shoes hahah. Pretty sure 5 people ordered them on there phone there. Was cool. Love these shoes.

Damn near brings a tear to my eye all y'all gear whoring out now a days! If I left this earth now I'd feel my job was done and leave a happy man :p

My gears whoring includes:

1) Mark Bell Full boar slingshot
2) SBD knee sleeves
3) Titan THP Knee wraps
4) Titan Sig Gold wrist wraps
5) Mark Bell Hip Circle
6) Mark Bell compression cuff
7) Nike Romaleos 2

My favorite piece of gear is the sling shot. I love using this thing to overload. I also use the compression cuffs for my elbows when lifting heavy. SBD knee sleeves are the shit. As mentioned earlier they do take some work to get into. But well worth it.

@RodgerThat How do you like the SBD wrist wraps and knee wraps?

Wrist wraps are excellent o have the gansta wraps as well and I use the SBD ones pretty much exclusively. The knee wraps are fairly decent rebound style wraps, I've never gone for a max with them or wrapped them super tight but I get about 40lbs out of them for training purposes

Thank you. Have you ever tried the Iron Rebel compression cuffs and wraps? I've wanted to try them out but I haven't found to many recent reviews on them.

I've tried their cuffs never their wraps. I'm partial to Mark bells cuffs but basically they are the same thing. What kind of squatter are you? Wide and slow or narrow/mid dive boomer?

I've got their elbow sleeves. Good for heavy benching and squatting. Is not a cure for low bar squat related elbow pain though.

I'm a mid squatter mid dive bomber. I need a new pair of cuffs. I have to order some more from Mark Bell.

I love low bar squatting. First time I tried low bar my elbows and shoulders were killing me. I worked on more mobility. But my elbows still get beat up a bit.
