I have no idea what anyone's motivations are or were but most of these women were completely new to the world of AAS. Make a few posts touting your vast experience and offering helpful advice to the newcomers. Gain their trust and then within a few weeks PM them a private source.

If a guy were doing this exact same thing to new male members on a regular basis he would be called out by multiple people on the board once it was discovered. To me this shouldn't be any different just because females are involved on both sides of the PM's.

I haven't seen any evidence this is a case where someone "makes a few posts" and solicits new members "on a regular basis". I've seen several hundred posts. And only 2-3 reports of unsolicited AAS recommendations via PM. I don't know the motivations either. But no one should ever place themselves in such a situation either.

All of the undisclosed connections to sources is reason to be suspicious of the motives of many.

The nonsense about GG's physique not being what she claimed isn't even worth consideration, nor are the complaints that GG has given bad advice - or more properly, given advice that someone didn't agree with. Hell, 99% of the so-called vets on this forum have given advice at one time or another that I haven't agreed with. And so what if she did give bad advice a few times? Does that negate all the good advice she's given? Because from what I've seen, GG has given a lot of great advice and it would be Meso's loss if we lost someone with her, to borrow @Dr JIM's term, fund of knowledge.

And what's with everybody demanding that she post pics to prove she is who she claims she is? When did we start demanding that people post pics - for ANY reason?

This is exactly why I've always urged members to evaluate the quality of the information rather than the experience of the person giving it. Decisions, especially those affecting your health and freedom, should be based on logic, not logical fallacies like appeals to authority. FWIW, there are probably less than 3 people here whose opinions I would accept at face value.

Not only are appeals to authority a logical fallacy, they don't work on a pseudonymous/anonymous forum. It is ridiculous for anyone to attempt to use this if they can not or do not want to reveal/prove their identity.

However, I am more concerned by the tendency to fall victim to this logical fallacy. Rather than evaluate advice/information based on logic and evidence, there seems to be a strong desire to accept/dismiss the advice/info based on the past or current appearance/achievements of the one giving it.

We should evaluate it based on its own merit.

I think it was more like 5 or every new member who was active in the women's section.

And unlike the other ladies...I wasnt approached. Probably due to the combination of the tone of my posts and my more cautious nature of the substances. But I'm also the one who's athletically lifted the longest in terms of training...just found it interesting and suspicious that someone completely new to the game (in the case of the other chick that was PMd) would be solicited for advanced cycles when she doesn't even have a proper training regimen. Yet I'm chasing elite#s and training high intensity enough to use the substances for their best potential and it was mentioned to those she solicited 'hadn't seen what it takes' from others so they werent approached. It was such an obvious move to butter up people and gain their trust.

Your point is exactly the one I was trying to make. No matter what your intensions are these types of PM's shouldn't be send.

If someone asks you a specific question and you feel like answering that is a different story.
