Hi, I think I accidentally took a little more than 15mg of tirzepatide this week, and the appetite suppression and delayed gastrjc emptying effects are back. I think I saw they are testing doses of up to 25mg. When might I be able to go up?

I started in May 23 (sw 228) and been at 15 since May of this year when I got down to 163. I think I’m probably back up to 170 now. I guess I need to start working out, which I have always hated. I take two antipsychotics and been on them for 15 years so my metabolism is wrecked.

I skip breakfast and lunch easily, but lately I have been snacking after dinner. I tried sema but i got very depressed, which I don’t know if it caused it or if it was a coincidence. But I’m scared to use it now. And I don’t want to try Reta if it’s causing heart problems. What else could I try if I can’t increase the tirz? Here’s a progress pic for reference..

Cagrilintide seems a good addition to any glp-1.

Started tirz 6 days ago at 2mg. Made me slightly nauseous on night 0 and carried over a little into the next day. Appetite suppression is absolutely insane, and so is the fullness effect. First 2-3 days I could get full by just smelling food. Managed to hit all my macro targets somehow(food in a blender) so far. Appetite came back today somewhat on day 6 so I pinned another 2mg. Currently nauseous as I'm typing this.

Going to probably do every 7-8 days in the future so I can get a refeed day in once a week. This stuff fucks.

yeah it's really hard to eat on tirz. It's highly effective and makes cutting easier because food just loses all appeal beyond its functional value

I find I still get hungry but I just get full super quickly.

Also high fat foods just don’t sit well. If I eat chicken and green beans I can finish 200 g chicken breast and feel full with no nausea. Fullness lasts a long time. If I were to eat the equivalent in a fatty food, even like lean ground beef, I get insane nausea.

I wonder if long term tirz will train people to eat cleaner out of fear of nausea lmao.

Hope,

I would suggest increasing your dose instead of stacking compounds. You obviously tolerate tirzepatide well, so, stick with it. Don't make things more complicated than they need to be.

I use 21mg per week dosed at 6mg every other day. If you tolerate the single bolus dose you can stick with that. It's easier and cheaper. I've been sticking needles in myself for 20 years so it's akin to brushing my teeth for me.

I'll probably move to 25mg per week sometime this coming winter. Then on to 30 plus, but I'm experimenting for many reasons. If you're just after weight loss you'll hit a dose you can maintain indefinitely and be satisfied.

If a higher dose works for you, it works for you. Just don't move up too fast and stay aware of how you feel. If you experience anything abnormal, meaning anything outside of the typically stated unwanted effects, just go back down a step. However, just like previous doses, your body will acclimated itself in time.

Also, don't listen to the people saying one should come off of the drug and let your "system reset". There's absolutely zero evidence showing that the drug stops working or that your receptors down regulate.

Starting a weight training program would be ideal, of course. Non of us are getting any younger and muscle is important for metabolic health and longevity. These drugs will give you the rewards that you EARN. Much like other performance enhancing drugs, at first they work FOR you, but in time you need to work WITH them to reap all of the benefits.

You look great by the way! Good luck!

Using 2mg/vial from UGL Driada Medical.Started with 0.25 first week then uped to 0.5,stayed there for 5-6weeks and went up to 0.7 over 2 more weeks. So that's around 8 weeks now and I lost about 12kg with a deficit of around 700-1000kcal.Side effect none except maybe a bit of fatigue and probably little headaches here and there.

Since I tolerate it pretty good I fell in love with it, no food cravings what so ever and need to eat like 2 hands full to feel full af.

Only "contra" I got is the tolerance build up but I guess that's just normal for the kind of med.
