Hello

I need help
On my woman blood work.

History: she has done one cycle of anavar.
She started on the 27 of January and finished on the 29 of March.

During the cycle she didn't have many side effects. Maybe a bit of bloat, increased clit sens and few hairs maybe.

Since she finished the cycle she reported a high drop in libido. She can lubrificate if we start kissing and touching each other but if there is no input from the outside she never thinks about it.
She has never been like this, so I was getting worried and said to her to wait until her menstrual cycle come back and then do bloodwork.

During cycle she had her period regularly after coming off the anavar she missed April Period, got the period back on The 8th of May (she usually have it around the 20th of the month).

She went for bloodwork few days ago.

She has POCS. She doesn't use the pill.

Bloods came back and I'm worried about her very low testosterone and low estrogen, plus her thyroids results are fucking strange.
I need your helps, especially the doctors one.

I don't have baseline of testosterone and estrogen, I know I should have but we forgot.

Here you can view the bloods results. They are In Italian for anyone in need of explanation I'm more then willing to translate.

I just skimmed quickly but her thyroid numbers look great. There's no problem there, Sampei.

I'll look over the rest later.
The ft3 is below the minimum and the tsh is on the lower scale. Shouldn't be the opposite? Like if you have a low t3 the tsh increase to produce more hormones?
Plus the t4 is almost below the minimum.

Thanks for looking at it! I really appreciate @CensoredBoardsSuck

She is 26 years old

A HX of PCOD, that is now influenced by the use of AAS is far to complicated to remedy on Meso.

Sorry but she really needs to see her GYN doc.

Sorry but she really needs to see her GYN doc.

What she should tell the gyn?
She can't admit to use AAS.

Can't you tell me anything?

it's a woman first lol and trust me here docs don't know A THING about AAS. like NOTHING ZIT. it will be just blamed on the aas and stop it, everything will be fine.

They never even tried to see if the pocs is giving her any problem etc. just diagnosed it and that's it.
I'm not gonna send her to the doc, say I do AAS and let her come back crying because the mofo has told her all the usual shits ignorant docs says about something they don't know.

I was given a diagnosis of PCOS 11 years ago.

The thing about PCOS is that it is a cluster of symptoms that can be unique to the female and even more complicated - those symptoms can change with age, diet, training frequency, stress, etc over a lifetime.

Libido can be affected by so many variables as well, but even more erratic when an endocrine disorder is present.

Doctors tend not to touch pcos with a 10 foot pole - even a GYN has given me absurd advice over the years. It has such a giant scope of variables that it's hard to pinpoint a direct cause of anything.

As for her test results, our tsh has the identical value of 1.2.

Our test value is similar (mine at 33).

Yesterday I spoke to the doc and the GYN, and they feel the values are normal and healthy.

T3 is only slightly low where T4 is normal - and these are common results, especially when there is emotional, psychological or physiological stress (i.e. hard training!). The body convert excess T4 to reverse T3 to conserve energy for healing or repair.

Also, T3 can be low when there is insulin resistance, which is a very common effect of PCOS.

Now add AAS, dieting, hard training and daily stressors to all of this, and low libido would just be an expected down of her current hormone cycle as is a lower range T3 result.

I could go on and on, but I would suggest, if it's extremely important, that she make sure she isn't over trained or in caloric deficit - with healthy, balanced meals - to get her going again.

The harder I train, the more restrictive my diet, the harder my libido crashes. I'm afraid that the docs will just throw birth control at her or send her down a long road of medical tests that will yield no answer.

PCOS is a lot about management of symptoms and that means keeping journals of her lifestyle and how certain foods, macros, training, emotions and bodily functions coexist together. Over the years that's what helped me more than any doctor or tests.

If she wants to conceive in the future it is important she doesn't diet and train too hard as it can make a lady, especially one with a fragile hormone system due to pcos, infertile.

Conceiving is not in the picture if she keep staying with me but I'll inform her about it as well, she deserves to know :)

I'll answer better tomorrow, It's late here, I really appreciated your post, most of your info are spot-on, describe perfectly the situation.

I believe AAS are the culprit on the libido, before touching it, she always had quite a high one, sometime it could be low like every normal person but never like this.
It's slowly getting better but her orgasm are not as powerful as before AAS.

I'm saying this just to throw as many info for any women reading and researching about AAS use.

She had a great transformation on anavar but there are side effect. when you are on but after coming off as well or at least there have been for her, on the sex department especially.

The increased sensitivity has been funny at first but then it has reverted to a: I don't feel a thing......BOOM I feel so much 2 seconds later she has an orgasm. No build up, it's like premature ejaculation, it's not nice... not fulfilling. I hope none of you girls will experience something like this because I can see the frustration in her eyes when it happens :(

It's getting better slowly.
She had that kind of thyroids results even before starting her first Anavar cycle. I thought it was not normal that she had such a low t3 associated with such a low tsh. Like if the thyroid doesn't see any low t3 and doesn't increase tsh to pump more hormones.
But now that I read your post I maybe understand the thing better, it's not the t3 lacking, but the t4 mainly. Low t4 can't convert in to much of t3, so that's why the low t3.

She has been on a 1300kcal diet for a month now, but with 1-2 cheat meal a week (huge one, yeah I know... we just love food lol).

I have made her increase calories to 1600kcal but she is stubborn because she don't see any fat loss anymore at the moment so she doesn't want to increase calories, in her mind she will gain weight instead of losing.

I need to have her increase cardio but keep eating more so she can maybe fuel the body and helps her own enviroment.

it's fucking complicated.... : (

if she's running 1300 cal and working out, she's not going to have any energy

if she's running 1300 cal and working out, she's not going to have any energy

With one two refeed a day wasn't working that bad. All her lifts keep increasing or are at the same level of when she was doing anavar. I still agree with you and she should eat more, that's what I'm working on... You know women... You tell them to eat more and they start panicking :)

Well...1300 calories is like a 7 year old girl's energy requirement is, for one. Dieting and libido have a causal relationship for sure. I always expect libido to crash with lower energy input - after all, my biological response would be to keep me from having sex and possibly getting pregnant while my body is not getting enough fuel. The body will prioritize essential functions over reproductive ones in times of scarcity, and often that means lower the sexual desire in a fertile woman to decrease her odds of becoming pregnant.

Also, libido waxes and wanes during a lifetime. A lower libido as you come out of your younger years is normal. For some women, sexual peaks will come in early 30s. You may have to just live with it for a short while and find other ways to be intimate with her, which will be good for your relationship anyway. There most probably isn't anything wrong her and making her feel as such may worsen the situation.

good post, my girl has run 1300 cal plans for 4 weeks for cutting. It's a very involved process, basically required you to eat 6 meals a day with tight control of your macros, and even than she feels like crap. Not something you want to do for any length of time.

I'm on 1500 right now and I feel like a zombie. I eat a bit lower most days and have a higher cal day to average 1500 because I need the sanity. A penis isn't anywhere near my thoughts. Maybe an edible peanut butter filled chocolate covered one...but nothing fleshy (unless bbq'D with hot mustard to dip).

She is the one getting preoccupied about not wanting sex as before. I for once are a bit releaved of not so much sex... Is strange to hear from
A guy and one on cycle especially but srsly... It was getting old fast to fuck once/twice a day every fucking day. Especially now that I'm cutting I don't have the energy for it. So it's not a problem for me, she is just worried of the whole thing.
She is not losing weight anymore and she is not losing fat either at the moment, it's probably stressing her out. You know women... The start thinking about something and they never let it go.

She will be back on cycle soon. Anadrol this time, i'll trick her in eating more during cycle :) just need to push the right button.

At the moment I told her to go on a 1500kcal day as average and just increase/lower carb on alternate days. So she will
Be probably do something like 1700-1500-1300-1700-1500-1300-cheat day, repeat.

Do you have lots of body hair happycamper? I don't mean like a monkey but do you need to shave around your chest or belly etc?

I'm Mediterranean, so I have darker hair in general but none on my chest or belly, except for a 'happy trail' as Americans refer to it - a fine line of hair from public area to belly button. My daughter is Albanian/Italian/middle eastern and she's as blond as an American, so I guess it's just luck of the draw. PCOS tends to give me thicker, darker hair I think, but none that grows in unwanted places.
