Guns

That is not the firearm I had but is real similar!
Sadly my collection was lost to poor lifestyle choices!
I always favored Springfield tho!
And I've owned many guns!
I'd have to say that my Springfield 1911 and my Springfield xd 40 were my all time favorites!
Although I did have a couple kalishnakovs that were close to my heart!
Kalashnikovs are where it's at :D

Yeah I lived in a pro gun star for awhile! You could by anything! And I mean anything!
Kinda nice when everything can come with a 30 round clip, or a 100 round drum

I've had three Glocks, don't like them. Crappy pull, even my 17L didn't feel right. And the mag release is not confidence inspiring either. Nope, not for me.
That's where zevtec some in. Match barrel, match fulcrum trigger 3.5lb pull, lightening cuts, night sights, RMR cut slide. Everything you need.

I'm not totally disagreeing with you on Glock because to be honest I can't hit dick with a Glock. There's just something about them that doesn't work for me when it comes to being accurate. I just like the reliability of the Glock and for a CCW most engagements would happen pretty damn close I would assume. I'm a tack driver with a 1911 though.

The 17L was a little bit of a Glock factory "race gun" attempt. 3.5lb trigger, extended and ported barrel.

Still felt like crap.

I used to compete in pistol shooting, Olympic style, national level, I'm fairly decent, a couple medals. Just don't like the feel of Glocks at all. I can hit accurately enough, it just feels uninspiring. Kind of like driving a Japanese car, it gets you there, but there's no pride in the accomplishment.

I can respect that lol. What's your go to? 1911?

Nothing points as naturally as a 1911. Great caliber too. Just a bit too big.

I like revolvers for carry, nothing goes wrong. Used to have a Colt Detective Special for that. Great little gun.

Thinking about getting either some more of the old DS line, or maybe better, even if I like metal best, one of the Ruger LCR variants, maybe this :
Magnum Force: Ruger’s LCR-357 Gets Serious

Should never have sold my Gold Cup National Match gun that I bought new in the late 80s. What a trigger...
