HD TV has turned me into a Zombie!

Well, I finaly broke down and had the cable company come out and hook me up with one of their new High Def receivers..... I have to say I am more than impressed. I've had my high def tv for over a year, and I kept putting off buying the receiver because I didn't want to part with that much coin...well the folks over at cox hooked me up with a receiver for free...free install...and $10 a month off for the first year...

For a total of about $70 a month, I get 230 channels including HBO and Stars along with 6 other HD channels.... Pretty awesome... They say before June they will have a (somewhat) local ABC and CBS High Def channels for the customers in my area...You know what that means???? I'll be able to watch my Chiefs in High Def come this fall!

I'm just so blown away by the picture quality of Cox High Def... I can't believe that I waited so long to get hooked up..It's incredible! And I can't stop watching..Hell, I'm watching "big trouble in little china" right now...not a great movie..but it's in high def and I just can't take my eyes away.... Yesterday I watched the 2003 Mr. Olympia in High Def!!!!! Holy cow, I couldn't believe it... You could literally see the pours on Jay Cutlers face!
