Heart Protection Associated with TRT an Anabolic Steriods

@Michael Scally MD
@Dr JIM
Thoughts an opinions please. I found this was very informative but would like to see if theirs anything that can be picked apart from it. Do you believe this Doc is on top of his game?

I have watched quite a few of his vids. I think he's is open minded and informative.

I think this particular vid should be a must for anyone using PEDs

This is why I bought a bunch of cialis. I'm 25, but I know I'm not invincible. If you fuck with AAS and haven't had any heart problems yet, it's never too late to start learning and taking precautions... I see why "dose" is also first on his list as well.

His name and training would be
where I’d start.

First is he a physician, that’s currently practicing in the USA?

Second what does his practice involve

Third is he selling ANYTHING !

Fourth I’ve learned to be skeptical of “docs” who’s practice is limited to, or associated with, the use of PEDs, bc such a narrow scope often generates bias IME.

I don’t see jealousy at all. @Dr JIM is the real deal, has always been since I’ve been on this board. I completely agree with him on this. I watched the guys video and it’s pretty accurate, but I still would like to know more details on the guy. He seems passionate like we are, trying to figure out how to be healthy on AAS, but his education and background are unclear. My buddy is a chiropractor and he calls himself a doctor too which makes me skeptical of all people who call themselves a doc. Yea my buddy has an education, but not med school and years of residency. Where this guy went to school and his previous practices were are pretty damn important imo.

I have not watched the video. He is Thomas O'Connor MD. https://www.metabolicdoc.com/heart-health

I suppose this speaks for itself: "Let me micro-manage your heart health and quality of life!"

He was a member of my FB Group but left after being challenged to support his posts/claims. Not once did he support a single post/claim.

Here is another ... let this sink in ... "offered on my website" ...

I believe this doc has been around for some time. Out of Connecticut...

How about the info put out by dr Scott Stevenson and dr Todd Lee ?

Bc such bloviated opinions of self are often used to justify excessive "wellness" fees, I've become weary of self proclaimed "experts" on behalf of physicians who lack sub-specialty training in their field of "expertise".

And although his videos are tainted with hyperbole, for a variety of reasons some folk need this sort of direction esp when CYCLING PEDs. However whether or not this degree of oversight is helpful as a means of limiting "cardiac risk" associated with physician directed TRT is debatable IMO.

Dr Jim will fall with an epileptic attack processing all that information. Just because he see all angles and is willing to help above and beyond your limits doesn't mean he is micromanaging.

Shine with your own light :rolleyes:

This vid and some of his others caught my attention too. I don’t begrudge anyone making a dollar but I see how his top dollar “concierge medical service” could cast doubt on his motives. Would love nothing more than this guy to be a greedy fraud making up the cardiac risk from aas. But I suspect this is not the case. Isn’t there a black box warning for all testosterone products now? For therapeutic doses, not blast n cruise. I think it’s indisputable that aas cardiac damage is a risk. But the unresolved questions in my mind are how risky? Cumulative progressive damage, or some unlucky guys get fucked and everyone else is fine? Is damage reversible? Is moderate dose occasional blasts, followed by trt (150/wk, not 3-400) likely or unlikely to shorten life span, and by how much. The massive hearts of the two prominent bbers who died recently, and other questions..
