HGH is basically magic and has drastically improved my metabolism

I'm one of those guys cursed with a slow metabolism. I've been training and tracking my calories for 30 years, so I know what I'm doing, so no I'm not tracking my calories wrong. But historically, any time I ate above 2200 calories a day I gain fat. It didn't matter how active I am or how much I lift, my metabolism is just slow. I was a former chubby kid who was overweight despite eating less food than all my skinny friends.

In the fall of last year I finished a cut. I was down to 1500 calories a day and the scale didn't move for a month, so I decided to do a lean bulk and added HGH (started at 2IUs a day and titrated up to 4).

Started at 1800 calories, scale didn't move. 2000, same thing. 2200, 2500, 2700 - same thing. I am now eating 3000 calories a day and my weight isn't increasing. Literally eating double the calories I was when my cut ended.

Yes I know I just need to eat more and that's not the point. The point is that for 30 years I would basically gain fat if I smelled food, but after adding HGH my metabolism has been working in overdrive. I love this shit.

I think despite the scale not moving I've actually recomped quite a bit because my abs and legs look noticeably leaner than when I started.

I've found HGH to be a cheat code too. Even with reducing cardio and caloric intake staying same or slightly higher it's easy to maintain bf% and even lower it a bit.

There is a sweet spot for the dosing that’s different for everyone and will be influenced by how you’re eating (mostly carb intake). If you were to push to 6 or 8 iu you might see some movement on the scale due to water retention. But that can be mitigated with diet / electrolyte adjustments. Jay cutler famously said that the right dosage of GH was “as much as you can afford.” He was not wrong. The only caveat being keeping an eye on fasting blood glucose and not exceeding 9 iu / day (if you are at / under 100 kg in bodyweight) as that can risk cardiac remodeling at those dosages.

Yeah I've tried pushing to 5 but I get pretty bad CTS so I can't

I wonder if you reset your insulin sensitivity as well and made your mitochondria more efficient by getting leaner and dieting and so on, but thats interesting.

Same dude

I started 3,300 calories at the beginning of January and after 2 weeks I think I still have room to go up.

I started hgh last September when i was in a cut, and looked different every morning.

Now on a surplus I'm just getting big. Little water. Thats expected. 500 carbs, increased gh and increased test. All these things increase water retention.

In February I'm going to up the test to 300 and calories to 3,800

I guess it's possible, but I've cut many many times in the past and.never had a faster metabolism after.

Yeah I've been on a bulk/blast for 6 weeks and I've gained 0 pounds. I think there's been some recomp because I look leaner and I'm stronger, but it's wild I haven't gained any weight. I'm going to add more calories this week and see what happens. I don't want to get fat so only looking to gain a pound or so a week, which normally I can do just by smelling food. It's wild.

No HGH isn't a magical fat burner. Its hard to even call it a "Fat burner" as it doesnt raise metabolic rate, i.e. Calorie expenditure, in anyway like a true fat burner lile DNP, t3, or clen. Which will "burn fat" even if you sit on that couch, calorie intake remaining the same of course.

GH in regards to "fat loss" is just a lipolysis agent. It activates fat cells to release their energy into the blood. Sounds good, but this just step 1 to fat loss. If you dont actually burn this energy through activity or whatever means, the fat just get redeposited. And circulating fatty acids are readily stored again.

This is ignoring the typical bullshit story about you not losing weight regardless of intake. No you didnt break the law of thermodynamics. If you did, perhaps you could share it with Africa.

Hmm, I think you're drastically under-balling how smart our bodies are and its sensitivity to caloric intakes.

I notice that, when I cut hard and slash my calories hard I fidget less, talk less, socialize less, more cold, lay down more, sit around, use the dishwasher instead of manually cleaning, hold off on running errands blah blah. NEAT can account for like 500-1000 calories a day I think?

When I slowly titrated my calories coming out of one of my deep cuts, I actually felt I was getting leaner and looked sharper despite eating more. But I was also very hyperactive, always moving around and all that.

Our brains play tricks on us when we diet too hard, the issue is the CICO crowd doesn't understand nuance when it comes to dieting and how our bodies are incredibly smart at adjusting its metabolism. There's a very fine line where you can cut whilst still maintaining energy, micronutrient intake, etc.

I am pretty sure unless it's a female or very short-guy, anything sub 2k calories pretty much guarantees you will be deficient in nutrients which can cause a cascade effect in downregulating hormones responsible for keeping your metabolism on fire...one being IGF (so you are onto something here)

You do realize we are talking about body conditions with already very low fat percentages, right?

Low enough to where every little thing is noticeable

GH snatched up the last few pinches at my armpits and back waist faster than anything else before. I literally saw the changes every morning.
