HGH sleep issues

About a month in on ugl GH, 4iu every night before bed, 2hrs after dinner. First couple weeks it knocked me out all night. Past couple weeks I've been wide awake at 3am every night. Almost feels like a cortisol spike. Wondering if I should ride it out, switch to am, or if anyone has had the same experience or knows the possible science behind this regarding the gh interactions with prolactin, progesterone or adrenals.

Deep sleep is always fine for me on GH. It's REM sleep that is hit hard. I tried AM dosing, which is definitely better for sleep, but my REM sleep duration is still below what it used to be. This could lead to somewhat impaired memory formation.

Interesting as GH is REM promoting; density and duration. If you don't remember dreaming that much, it usually means you weren't waking up near REM episodes and not that you didn't experience REM. Also, smart watches are pretty bad ad detecting REM stages as they are hard to properly measure, you need an EEG for that.

Why do you think your REM has gone down?

I was basing it on the sleep report of my smartwatch. But I did notice the watch showing more 'awake' periods during the night that otherwise would be typical REM sleep. I do not recall waking up at those moments, so perhaps on GH, the smartwatch is confusing (violent) REM sleep with being awake :D
