Hotdeezy: Sup girl

Btw DROPPING TEST completely. Deca should cover a healthy amount of estro and 50mg provi erryday for the penis. Will let everyone know how this pans out

Fuck it man! Next time you see them repping out snatch or cleans, load up your bar and jump right in. 9 times out of 10 they don't know what the hell they're doing either. LOL!

I agree, a lot of it is seriously unsafe. I have the broken body to prove it... But that's what roids are for! So we can power thru the pain for the GAINZ!!!

Lmao idk about "loadin" that bitch up but I will throw some baby plates on in next week or two an start gettin underneath it. End of cycle goal clean jerk 135lbs and snatch (from floor) 115lbs. Is that some srsly sissy shit? Or a good goal for someone that cannot perform the movements?

I know you have shoulder Issues and thats a good excuse. But 135 wouldnt impress any semi or serious lifter. I was doing them for shits n giggles in the summer and i started with 205 and ended the session with 225. Snatch, clean jerk

I don't know about the strength standards for oly lifts, @romaleos would be able to give you a better idea of what is attainable strength wise and what to shoot for.

As far as 135 C/J being or 115 snatch being sissy shit or not, I would say it's relatively impressive if performed correctly and you are adept enough at the movement. A jerk performed properly is impressive simply because a lot of people aren't athletically adept enough to even do it. Same for snatch.

Mobility is going to be a huge factor in your success though. I think your mobility is good if you are able to do some of these movements but keep working on it, athletic positions should feel really comfortable if you have good enough mobility.

I think its good to start light on Olympic lifts. It's important to learn the form and get the mechanics of the lift down before going heavy. You should practice the lifts many times with light weight until it becomes almost a natural movement, then work your way up to the heavy weights. IMO.

@hotdog23 These are the mobility standards and what ordering to practice the different pulls that @romaleos posted in another thread a little while back. It's very detailed and I'm sure it will help you out on your journey.

This is just coach romaleos speaking so please take it with a grain of salt. In a recent seminar, Donny Shankle concurs.

Strength standards are fine but first and foremost the key to Olympic weightlifting are the mobility standards. If you can't get into the positions then you will only be tempting injury. And mind you it is possible to scale the movements such as power cleans and snatches and still reap the benefits of training hip explosion.

So my standards for full ROM weightlifting are:

1) Squat ATG with a vertical spine in the hole. A good test of this ability is to stand 3" from a wall and perform an air squat ATG.

2) The ATG position should be as comfortable as a chair to you. With your heels flat and spine vertical you should be able to hold the position relaxed for 5 minutes plus.

3) In above position, perform behind neck presses with empty bar for 10 reps. This is the Sotts press.

4) Have the balance to perform one legged squats aka pistols without any support or holding your free leg.

5) Overhead lunges with a 45lb plate for 200m.

Weight will come once technique is adequate. @ruckin is right, start light and comfortable. And I highly recommend a coach. As much as possible don't oly lift alone so you have someone to check your form.

Good luck becoming a beast!

Another thing when you start to learn the lifts.

Learn each pull in this order: 2nd, 3rd, finally 1st. So hip explosion, then pull under/catch, and finally from the ground.

The 1st pull is NOT a deadlift. The 2nd pull is the most important, in the beginning only work from the hang or with blocks no lower than the knees. The 3rd pull do a ton of snatch balances.

Learn the snatch first, then the clean, and finally the jerk. The jerk will be the hardest to figure out if you are not athletically gifted.

Insist on learning a catapulting style from your coach. Research coach Don McCauley.

Thx for direct response. I should be able to turn the jerk up a lil cause the leg drive will get it off my collar bone. I'm pretty stable in lockout.... For the snatch... I'll just have to b a pussy for now :)

Thx man that makes me feel better. Will start snatches from the hip this week, and working on tricep lat mobility. Think I found ULTIMATE stretch btw, stretch lat by pushing forearm and tricep against wall, overhead, leaning body into it. Then holding 5lb dumbell let arm bend back (at elbow) towards rear delt. Stretches the hell outta lat and tricep simultaneously

Gotta say volt, nandrolone has made a believer outta me too. I'll be off test for about 25 days, til I run outta provi. After that I fear things will head south
I have never ran i t completely off of test but I have run it as high as 500mg vs 160mg test with no problems.

That's legit for a beginner. Just remember that Crossfit metcons will not make you better at OLY lifts. In fact it will instill horrible habits. If you are gonna OLY lift, keep it away from high reps till you get good at a set of five reps.

This is important to re-iterate^^^

Do not do timed Oly lifts or high rep Oly lifts. They are the most technically demanding and technically based lifts there are. They depend on form more than any other lift. Doing them for time or high reps will wear you out and even relatively minor fatigue can screw your form up enough to get you hurt or inhibit the benefit of doing the lift. I'd say reps should be no higher than 5 and preferably 3 or less for multiple sets. If you want to do higher rep you can do high rep partial Oly lifts or assistance movements.

Have fun at the wedding and get those carbs in.

Wedding was legit. The bridesmaid I was paired up with was bangin. 26 yr old pharmacist, fine as fuck. We was wasted, she put it on me on the dance floor. Had a great time, but came home to bby girl... I mean it sucks tbh. I feel like I did the right thing, this chick has had my back through everything, and is a great partner. In school, bright future but dam the opportunities I pass up... Mayb if I wasn't some fine ass manlet I wouldn't have these problems :D
