I want to find a media bottle that doesnt crack besides glass. You ever use PETG media bottles? They are supposedly shatterproof but who knows.
Idk if my washing, then alcohol bath then washing again with distilled water then into the oven at 350 for 30mins is sufficient to call it sterile? I have serious OCD.
Dry heat sterilization is 170c 1 hour 160c 2 hours.
You can call it sterilized after that.
I use only borosilicate media bottle, as I store the oil in it until I need to cap the vials.
I overthink and overspend. Ill just clean and bake and call it a day. Ill probably still refilter after into sealed vials with syringe filter. OCD is bad. Thanks again man!
I asked a mycologist friend, he suggests to not use the air purifier during the flow hood use.
Keep the air as still as possible. Clean the room before with the air purifier having it ran at max for 1 hour and than just shut it off and do whatever you need to do.
