How much t3 for a woman?

I've read plenty of times that permanent thyroid shut down is a myth; even MPDP (Derek) took 50mcg for a year straight, and recovered his thyroid rather quickly.
So just because Derek, who is cool and smart dude by the way! Said so, it means that it's safe to abuse the hell out of it? I don't think so and neither I'm saying you or someone else will not recover, but the possibility is still there!

At least you look like you lift and have experience, it's all good, because many like to talk shit when they don't even understand wtf they're talking about and just cuz they read it on the net it must be it! But damn it be a little bit smarter, you risk your wifes or wives (sorry for grammar not native English speaker) health for just a little bit faster results.. she might even experience side effects like very increased appetite which could potentially ruin her dream cut.

I'm not talking out of my ass, being on meds ain't fun. Sorry for the rant! I just think people don't always value their health before it gets too late and too bad. All I want is to give good advice from my own personal experience and what it's like if something bad happens and you're on meds for life and the worst thing is - you never know and it happens at the most unexpected time.

Perhaps, but weren't these people advised to run like 100mcg of t3 and like 160 clen, along with their starvation diets, which certainly would do more damage than the drugs alone.
I'm not certain here, someone would more knowledge can chime in, but with thyroid, would 50mcg cause just as much of a shut down as 100mcg? Just as it would with a male taking and level of testosterone over endogenous levels?

perhaps it is all at risk because how fast the metabolism is going, and if you don't keep up with these turnover rates, then you lose whatever it is metabolizing, which is why being on gear will avoid this issue. So then, if my wife had a higher protein diet, eating much more than she needs, then I would logically conclude it should also reduce this issue.

I also have clen, which doesn't do any of this, but she doesn't want the sides. I'll tell her these potential issues, but it seems 50mcg a day would be ok for her IF she decides to do on with it. I also have some var coming in, and researching in the female section (where I should have posted this lol), it seems 5mg a day is enough, IF she wants to go that route lol.
Yes if she eats a high protein diet and is willing to do some var then I would say it will lean her out fairly quick.

50mcg should be more than enough.

I get you brother, I know you're not being an ass and are truly concerned. I appreciate it.

I would think 100mcg of t3 would do more of that burning through bone, muscle etc, than 50mcg. But I woudl assume the shut down is exactly the same, once you go superphysiological

His mind is made up already guys. Best advice from there is to keep diet pin point accuracy, and start thyroid med at a low dose and monitor closely.

Yeah, why bother asking questions then... people are ridiculous, light minded and careless.

9/10 times they don't know wtf they are doing and they then argue, using irrelevant examples. If someone needs to question how much t3 to give to his woman, then he needs to educate himself first.

A lot of people are weak, but I'm still surprised how much. I mean they think thyroid meds are good way to lose fat. They choose to sacrifice their health, others health just to achieve mediocre results at best.

Dude is holding 15% or probably over and talking about thyroid meds is just stupid, self righteous, weak minded person I talk about in my thread.

There are many ways to skin a cat. You're coming off precisely what you claim to despise.

You first attack me with an ad hominem saying I'm 15% bf lol...thing is I haven't been 15% bf this entire time, and I'm still losing body fat. I started off at like 30%. So yes, make your point that I'm stupid by attacking me when my plan is actually working the way I want it to, slowly over time? Yes, very smart kid you are. There is nothing lazy with how I am doing things at all: I'm in a deficit, I train hard six-days a week, and I'm getting results...

Then you imply I'm stupid and self-righteous. Calling me stupid is ironic. And Idk where self-righteous comes from, clearly you don't even know how to use that word in the correct context. In fact, you're the one who is coming off holier-than-thou with this post, as if you are the paragon of hard work and everyone should do it your way, otherwise they are lazy, stupid, and whatever else.

Also, I like to ask people to get different opinions on topic; the key word is opinions. This is called "gathering data." The reason humans do this, is to figure out what may be the best course of action. In fact, this is part of the process of "becoming educated" as you think I am not lol.

And Just because I ask, doesn't mean I have to follow someone's opinion. See I have to explain it to you like a retard.

And you talk about sacrificing one's health? Who are you to know how someone's health is doing? It has been shown time and time again that T3 shutting down thyroid permanently is a myth.

Now I could explain the entire situation to you, and you'll see my rational is 100% justified, but you come off as someone who is close-minded and arrogant, so I wont' even waste my time.

In fact, I know exactly how you're going to respond...I've dealt with your type so many times lol.

The choice is up to my wife, and she decided to try it out instead of remain fat. She is on exactly what I'm taking: 40mcg of clen and 50mcg of t3. She feels fine and currently losing visceral fat. She is counting her calories and she is getting results.

As a mother of two, she doesn't have the time to live a bodybuilder lifestyle; she barely has any time for herself. People on here tend to forget this. So it's either be fat and risk getting CVD in the future, or get the fucking results asap, then maintain the new maintenance.

The fact I got her back in the gym after 18 months of her pregnancy is a start; she does cardio in the morning when she can't go. She had high triglycerides just a few weeks ago, and they have dropped dramatically back to normal levels. These health issues that needed to be addressed NOW, not 20 weeks from now.

Again, I don't have to explain shit to anyone; all I wanted to know were dosages for females, and people have to talk from a pedestal. That's the problem with people on here: answer the fucking questions; no one gives a shit about your moral opinions. I want to know FACTS, not what people THINK.

Clearly, taking drugs come with risks, which we are willing to take in exchange for whatever results. As in my wife's case, I'm not trying to see her die of a heart attack because of her triglycerides that she was taking medication for. And the thing is, my wife isn't super-fat like like some round obese whale; she is just carrying around her belly from the pregnancy, that has been stubborn as fuck, not coming off even while in a deficit.

Anyway, I know of bikini pros who take 120s of clen and 100 mcgs of t3; (I've never gone higher than 60mcg of clen in my life)... you guys are overreacting as if I'm asking for my wife to take massive dosages lol.

Whatever man, do what you want anyway, I don't care. I see bs I call it, I'm blunt arrogant sob maybe I don't care. I know what I'm saying and if I don't I keep my mouth shut.

Thing is you like arguing and proving irrelevant things and that's why I said what I said, because in my opinion it's exactly what "your type" ppl do. Whatever man, fuck it, I ain't gonna change you, but yeah take more drugs they sure will fix all your problems or whatever...

I stand by my opinion and you are not gonna change it either and you're the one who got offended. Funny thing is some of these statements were in general you applied them to yourself.

The only direct "insult" which is not insult at all is that you're perhaps no lower than 15% (which is leaner than most people think anyway...) and that you're self righteous in eveyrything you say and argue about. Taking thyroid meds being to achieve goals that otherwise are achievable with moderate effort and no risk at all.

At the end of the day, you gotta understand it's my opinion and you've got yours, it's not my problem that you don't like it and you got offended.

Like I said, I knew how you were going to respond lol.

Me responding the way I do is not because I'm "offended" as you claim; I simply hate stupidity. What I like to do on boards, other than talk shit to people and leave them doing the same crap, is point out logical fallacies to teach people like yourself that the way they are arguing is fallacious (illogical)—just like you were using the word "self-righteous" in an incorrect manner. This isn't to shit on anyone, it's to help raise levels of understanding.

I probably am 14-15%, who knows; my legs are leaner than the rest of my body, but it doesn't matter...that's the fallacious part of your argument. Even if I were 50% bf, that doesn't make my position weaker. This is like saying Hani Rambod doesn't know what he is talking about because he is a fat fuck, so no one should train with him for Mr. Olympia, do you get it?

So your argument was I'm not educated, and idk what I'm doing because I'm 15%, right? Well what if I were 6%? Would that make me right? Again, that would also be fallacious thinking. Most people don't realize that even the best bodybuilders are literally dumb apes who don't even know what they are doing, and we shouldn't even take advice from them, because they are the best, most genetically gifted, many of whom are truly clueless when it comes to training and drugs, and grow regardless of what they do.

And no one is talking "more drugs." I've been doing my fat loss in phases over months, all of which is documented in my log; and ever phase I look better and better... the drugs have only sped up the process; everything else is still me doing what I'm doing, correctly.

But this post is about my wife, not me, so there was no reason to even put me in the conversation.

Anyway, I can tell you're a young kid from your pic and how you type on here; I'm sure you mean well, but understand that if you want to convince someone of your position, you need to appeal to their logic. I've had arguments on here where people would say things, and then I'd ask them to point out the specific mechanism by which their claim does X and they were left with literally "Idk, but it works." or "That's what I do." or "That's dangerous or bad." If they can't explain why, then there answers are not worth taking into consideration. Which means, they believe something they don't even know why they believe it...does it make sense to trust someone like that? lol.

I hope you understand now.

Maybe I went off on a tangent. It's your choice overall, so yeah, don't take it too personally. I'm just saying there are other less invasive ways to achieve the same outcome. It appeared to me that you leave no compromise in discussion, but only make arguments. Besides language barrier is sometimes a bitch isn't it.

It's all good... and yes I am aware of those other ways no doubt, but like I said in my wife's case, she needs the help now rather than later.

What really matters is that you care for others, and I appreciate that brother. And yes, things get lost in text. And yes I am stubborn at times lol. All good.
