How much ya skwaat?

So i need some advice?

Just came off my "no squat" rest period. Got that knee tendonitis worked out. Pain free ATM. Took about a month for it to disappear. Now i am beginning my NEW quest for a 495lb front squat. Currently at 405x1 so i got some work to do. I expect itll take me 12 months or so to climb that mountain. Or perhaps i am overestimating my progress? Either way i am off cycle and will be at least until 2017.

Now issues i am having are i have a weak point in the front squat. Dont know exactly what it is but after much thought i believe my hips are weak and they will need to be MUCH stronger to handle anything past 405. Without a coach these things are hard to diagnose but i am determined. What should i be incorporating to assist in my journey?

Anyone here ever try the squat everyday program. Looks interesting. Might give it a go when im healed up

I've squatted everyday Bulgarian style. Absolutely rocked my world. It's after 5 months of Bulgarian 5*3*1 one understands how much you can squat without overtraining.

Right now, I am doing a light few weeks. StrongLifts 5*5 with twice the number of gym sessions per week. . The full body training slims me down well and the accessory work is great. Get a bit of a break from just doing the magic 3 every day. Get more speed on the squat with higher reps too. Hope the accessories and the change will tag on some when I try 1 RM again.
 
Doing a heavy squat workout with some of the strongest raw lifters I know tomorrow at the Big Tex Gym, see if i can crush some PR's after being off the juice for the last 4 months.
Got 495 for 5 sets of 6 reps no belt, no wraps on Thursday tho.
 
Finally decided to stop being a pussy and get back after my squat. Did first session yesterday and only went to 275 x 5...i am determined now since im finding it hard to justify when talking numbers with the guys that my deadlift is 585 and my max squat is 360... lol...
 
Been thinking about checking into one of those Meadows routines. U like it ? Is the one your doing like a purely hypertrophy one?
Its periodized. Nice break from what i was doing. Alot of unique shit in it i like. 3 weeks of high frequency legs then 3 weeks of high frequency back etc etc

I do those, too. Adductors and abductors both. I switched to doing them with bands though and I feel like I get a lot more out of them. Free range of movement versus fixed plane and all that. Give them a shot with bands sometime, I think you'd like it. I use the red mini bands for sets of 20. One end tied to whatever and the other looped around my ankle.

Looks kinda like this and just go the opposite way for abductors.



You'll be able to feel a much better burn right away.
