ok I just got AC fixed, I have a new house only 3 years old, only one story about 1800 Sq foot. my attick is hot as fuck I have no ventilation at all, what can I do to help keep it cooler? I dont want to ever pay for a fucking new AC ever again, a fan is out because there is no place to put it, my house is all brick and the roof is wood but no place to put a fan, I was thinking maybe to add some more vents, it has to be about 130 up there.

You can put a ridge vent in but you really need to put exhaust fan in the end of your attic. It will really help the efficiency of you a/c unit.

they make a ridge vent called cobra brand each roll is equal to 12 hat vents which are the little aluminum vents you see on peoples houses. you have to cut a couple inches of wood down on each side of your peak then roll out vent fasten and cap over it. a power vent would help also. plus luver vents on your exterier wall in the attic on both sides would be great to. inproper ventalation is a leading cause of early roof failure.

An attic fan is the best way to go. I don't understand why you don't have room for one?
the roof sits on the house which is concrete, there is very littly build up of roof, now I can put a vent in if I cut a fucking hole in the concrete, that might just be to much work, and the attick is a damn sauna, AC runs almost all day,

go with ridge vent and a power vent installed in the roof deck or whirlibird vents.
thanks bro, i did some looking at home depot today, I am going with a fan, a electric one, its so damn hot up there I know if I cool it down it will take lots of work of the AC, I just spent 1600 on a new AC and today my fucking frig was making some funny noises, shit like this only happens when your out of work due to a injury, I might just go to the cosino and put the life savings on black,
