I much rather try to come up with better solutions than to let it get to the point where hyperinflation destroys everyone's life. We are pretty far down that road already, but would be better to change that before we can't turn back. Unfortunately, the current politicians on both sides are not going to help by passing monstrous bills like this. I still hope America can turn this around, rather than wish it all goes to hell.
Hyper inflation in only destroys the lives of the "working class (lower)" and the poor. The exponential curve of inflation has only just started. Those with tangible assets only get richer and have more . East Germany was a perfect example. Those with savings are wiped out. Those with truly massive debt take it all.
Quick example. Cost in my industries (5 or 6 of them) have gone up quite a bit. I simply raised my rate to match inflation and bought a new truck. This vehicle actually costs me nothing. As my purchasing power is diminished I simply gain more tangible assets.
Land for example. I bought my farm at 225,000 it has gained 8 times the value since 2014.
So if I bought another at 2 million and in 10 years that became 1 years wages that debt becomes meaningless. In east Germany the cost of a farm became the cost of a trip on the bus in only 5 years!
Inflation pays debt. once the money supply is corrected a few are left with everything!
Socialism is the pure capitalists wet dream. It has no choice but to become a oligarchy.
All that being said....I fucking hate where we are going!
