Due to the reduced volume of EMS mail being sent out of the Philippines stemming from reduced economic activity (less businesses are open so less mail is being posted), Philpost are waiting for EMS mail to build up to fill commercial flight cargo containers to AU and NZ before they book space on the planes.
This makes sense, hence Auspost saying the Philippines route is open and they are accepting Philippines shipments.
Issue is that it’s taking a week to 10 days to bank up enough mail to make the flight viable. However, Philpost tell me that mail is building up a little faster each week so it won’t be long before the flight schedule returns to normal.
So...We're going to open the International site to Australian and New Zealand customers please be prepared for a lag in shipping time due to the flight scheduling issues.
