Injection question

Hey everyone was wondering how many people aspirate when doing IM injections? I heard of people not doing it and some would never do an injection without aspirating. I personally always aspirate but I noticed something strange whenever I do an injection in my right quad I aspirate no blood i inject and when I finish pushing the oil in blood starts to come back into the syringe. I assume it is because when I push the last bit out too hard and it creates a vacuum. Am I over doing it trying to get the last drop out is this something I should worry about? Have any body else experienced this? Have done 1000s of injections and it is a new occurrence also not much oil in the injections only on a trt dose of .8 cc (200mg) atm. I apologize for the long read lol

I personally aspirate with IM, but only once did I actually draw any blood out. But then I've also never had tren cough and I've used only tren A so that'll be quite a few injections..

The WHO no longer reccomend aspirating for vaccines but we ain't injecting vaccines so..

Not sure about the issue you're having though.

Thanks for the response noticed I put 1000s of injections granted i could be at over 1000 total definitely not 1000s was doing daily’s for a while. Some more info is I have aspirated blood a few times but always would just pull it out and inject somewhere else if I did. Been trying to find info on blood entering the syringe after the injection and cannot find anything stating if it’s due to being in a blood vessel or something else. I normally leave the needle in for a few seconds after I inject to let it disperse but when doing my right quad a panic and remove the needle when I notice the blood. I cannot be the only one that experienced this maybe I am lol

I pin glutes and shoulders EOD rotating through those four areas and never aspirate. Just push any noticeable air out the syringe/needle and inject IM. Never had issues. Just an occasional blood leak one out of every ten but quick wipe and it’s fine.

Not necessary. It's pointless. You're putting the needle in perpendicular to your veins. You aren't gonna land inside one. WHO and the CDC both discourage it's practice as outdated, causing possible pain, and lack of evidence of any benefit

Not only do i not aspirate, I always include a tiny air bubble to push the oil deeper inside and to prevent any potential oil "leak".

Not surprised to get those responses it does seem like nobody aspirates anymore. I did see a post that it does not need to be done with vaccines but when it comes to oil they recommend it still. Honestly it’s a pain to aspirate when doing self glute injections so wouldn’t mind not doing it if I knew for sure it was not necessary

And possible movement of the needle that can cause more damaged and therefore more likely to form a scar tissue long term.

Dang not sure if it’s what caused it but my glutes have pretty severe scar tissue needle goes in slightly then meets the hard scar tissue and have to push pretty hard to get past. I have tried massage but hasn’t really helped

i been pinning off and on for 20+years, and don't have ANY problems with scar tissue, and i was doing M-W-F shots for years, i think alot has to do with the quality of needle you use, and of course rotation of sites and probably a little technique,, Also the "stab&jab" technique works well,,

What's the stab and jab?

I inject slowly I can actually feel the vibration of the needle going through the skin and into the muscle.
Always aspirate to be in the safe side from time to time I actually get blood in the syringe and last time I actually pulled plasma into the syringe.. probably scar tissue in my right delt couldn’t be bothered to switch injection area and injected the oils with the plasma into the scar tissue and had the cold shivers for a week with swollen delt..
Aspirate bro..
also I always try to have little air on top of the oil it pushes the left over in the needle in..
Injecting air IM won’t kill you ….

in a clinical setting aspiration, any visible blood will almost Always be blood not Plasma, plasma is part of the blood obviously, but its got to be seperated by centrifuge, likely NOT plasma as you described just doing a im shot,
I don't understand how people come up with these "unrealistic" conclusions, i "injected into my plasma" ,? lol And aspiration only compounds PIP, from the extra "wiggling" that cant be helped messing around "aspirating", Also plenty of YT videos on how to "Properly do im injections" and not one that i have seen Aspirates,,IMG_2423.webp
