Introduction, reflection and future goals...

Welcome to Meso !
Have you ever tried Raw Milk, It's not Pasteurized or Homogenized.
I ran across this years ago from Rheo Blair (aka Irvin Johnson).
You can't get it in every State, but if you Google it, you may either find a Farm or a Co-op that sells it.
I'm in Philly, so I just go to Reading Terminal for my Raw Milk............. JP
P.S.
You're looking Great !
P.S.S.
I may have to change my Handle to Old JP (lol)

Welcome to Meso, sorry I'm late. Now for my criticism. Everyone has said all the nice stuff, so I won't.

Your upper pecs are far underdeveloped in comparison to your lower pecs. Your chest looks like your weakest point overall. Your traps are out of proportion to your delts (your delts are very well developed, particularly your front delts), if you added another inch to your traps, it would make the double bicep rear pose, amazing. Your lats look good in your muscular pose, but look weak in your double bicep pose, this could be posing technique. You really need to develop the center of your back, it looks very weak in comparison to your traps and lats. Your left rear delt is lagging behind your right rear delt, in terms of separation (unless the camera rotated the picture, it might be reverse).

Guess I can say some nice things...

Your legs are definitely your show piece. They have great separation and mass for your size. You have good bicep shape, I would like to see more of the outer head, but they present nicely as shown. Your forearm muscles, tie in very nicely, you can see the separation and the joining unit to the bicep and elbow region. You can also see the tie in to your triceps from your forearms, very hard definition for most to get.

@BigJP you look great in the pictures bro... What age range are you in early 20s?

Best advice I would give is if you plan on competing is packing on some weight and getting out of light-heavy. Those 5'6" dudes end up looking like they have 20lbs on you. I know it is easier said than done, but if you watch a lot of shows you see it all the time.

Thank you for

thank you for the constructive feedback and also the positive feedback! Since the show I've made back thickness and upper chest my priority, lots of heavy deads, shrugs, and incline chest movements. Any particular training tench uniques you'd suggest in relation to your advice?

Most definitely something I agree with but I also wanted to push myself to compete and get the experience. I'm 22. At my height my hope for my next show is to be competitive in the heavyweights, long term goal is obviously to fill out my frame and height and be a competitive super heavy

@BigJP yeah it just takes time. It's great to get a show under your belt, and start figuring out your show diet and everything.

Just take your time and pack on quality muscle. I'm sure you saw, but the older guys that have been doing it for a while usually have a different look that just comes from muscle maturity. That's not something you can rush.
