This is like looking at a bucket of gasoline and being asked how many miles it's gonna get you without knowing what car its going into and how it's going to be driven.

What is your current weight

What are your maintenance macros

What are your goals

What is your training like

Yea we cant answer you because not enough info. He did post weight but not BF%.

Why are you cutting at 5-10 154? If anything it sounds like you need to work out more? Or are you a cardio athlete perhaps? Still cant imagine a cardio guy cutting at that weight and if anything they need more calories for sports.

Maintenance cals around 2100 , 2200 I’m guessing never really done maintenance always been on a cut or bulk Ik if I eat 2300-2400 cals I’ll gain weight and at 1800 - 1900 cals I’m losing weight.

Goal get visible abs while relaxed / be lean
Been training for 1 year and 9 months first 6 months of training was trying to lose weight I was 205lbs got to 160lbs I got leaner but didn’t like how I looked cause I had no muscle bulked for 7 months got to 178lbs then started a cut 8months in I’m 154lbs right now. First year trained Arnold split 4x6-8 then switched to 3x6-8 chest/back , Sharms , legs, rest , chest/shoulders/tris , back/bi , legs rest repeat as of last few months been doing upper lower rest upper lower rest rest repeat. 2x6-8 , upper lower split is where Im seeing most progress and my favorite split.

(I’ve always trained to failure started my lifting journey with a bodybuilder family member with 10+years of training and has been enhanced for most of those years he taught me everything I know about proper form , nutrition and if you don’t train to failure or go past failure you don’t grow)

I can see my abs if I flex but I still have fat , im going to guess maybe 10-15 lbs of fat maybe less or more idk.

I don’t know my bf% but to answer why I’m cutting I am trying to be asthetic I’ve never seen myself shredded or super lean and want to see what I’d look like and how far I can take this cut
(I’m 19) I started my training journey at 205lbs obese and I’m weighing right now 154lbs been training for 1year and 9 months first 6 months I went on a cut got skinny but not muscular so I bulked for 7 months got to 178lbs then started a cut for 8 months which I am still in.
Currently weighing 154lbs

Just from the first look at it I would recommend not to eat 700g strawberries per day as the only fruit/veg source but instead for example 200g strawberries, an apple, an orange and some peas or something. More variance. And maybe don’t eat 7 fucking chocolate rice cakes every day

Okay makes more sense. I would take a minute to do BF% measures. You dont need devices for this. Just a tape measure. When I started, I put 3 different formulas into a spreadsheet and just took an average of the 3.

Look up YMCA-E, Covert Baily, and Navy BF%. Plug them into your spreadsheet and then take the average of the 3. Note individually they all have flaws but taking an average is remarkably very close to what you get from the electrical devices like those expensive Omrons. Save a few bucks and just measure yourself.

Next, 7 months of working out is nothing. It takes years to to build a notable amount of muscle. If you were not an athlete before and didnt work out prior, then its going to take a while. Be patient and keep at it. You can keep doing the cut and bulk cycle if you like but I think it might be wiser to just eat a little extra and focus on building strength.

Note I said "strength." This should be your real measure, not looks. Why? Because strength can actually be measured and guess what? As you gain strength, your looks will improve anyway should you even care (looks are not as important as you think). But more importantly, you will be able to statistically measure your progress. Looks are just an opinion and is meaningless. What looks good to this lady looks goofy to that one. Goals need to be measurable.

So my recommendation is to not cut but go neutral with a little excess per day to promote building. At 154, you are already light but again, without knowing BF% its hard to say so if you can do that and post it, it would help.

Best of luck on your journey whatever you decide.

Thats not even the worst of it... He is eating those fluffy awesome mission tortillas with like a flipping egg and gobble gobble slices? The sacrilege...

Take 3oz chicken from other meals, shred it and heat on stove, put it in tortillas, add some pico and guac. Roll into burrito. Toast it. You now have an awesome burrito better than most restaraunts especially if you go with those $5 Costco chickens. Add your favorite hot sauce. I love the victoria sauce myself. Each burrito will be like 220cal, 26g protein almost no carbs so you can get that elsewhere (drink).

If you are going to get good stuff at least make it delicious (lol). Honestly if you dont enjoy little things like food, you will burn out. Try to enjoy things.

Not being shitty man, but the reason the above things aren't adding up to gains for you is because you are doing something(s) wrong

You're 19. It's not uncommon to be executing training ideologies and food plans that aren't really benefiting you. Thats why when tiktok kids show up here asking what gear they need to blast I try to point out the other 100 things they need to focus on first.

If training to and/or past "failure" (there is a lot we could talk about just in that word alone) like you said you are isn't getting you gains.... then why keep doing it. Not saying it wont ever work for you- but it seems to not be working for you right now. Are you keeping a log book of your lifts? If not, start keeping one. That can directly show you if a plan is working or not.

Bouncing back and forth between surplus and deficit also doesn't seem to be working for you. You are 154 pounds dude. Even if you are a skinny fat 154, if you aren't trying to optimize for blasting gear........ stop worrying about your body fat % right now and just fucking grow. You are 19. Your body will know what to do with the fat after a few years of consistent muscle mass gains.

It would likely be very difficult for you to get super lean right now, because you don't have the muscle mass to support a metabolic environment for it. Muscle takes energy to to support. At 154 pounds, you don't have enough muscle to support a metabolism that would support getting shredded. You are just gonna waste off whatever muscle you did gain.

Stop worrying about the scale. Worry about your body compisition.
Increase the muscle

Fuck worrying about the fat right now.

Spend time truly learning about sports nutrition. Watch youtube videos from bodybuilders about the foods they eat and how they prep them.

Change your training. I can't type out a whole program for you here, but it sounds like you are doing a lot for very little in return.

Become a training savant. Change your movements, change your reps, change your frequency. Find what works. Don't just keep doing the same thing waiting for it to work. Training will always change and evolve. Learning how to reprogram for your current needs is an important part of maturing in the gym
