JayMaximus's First Meet Log

So my log was almost over at the beggining. The organizer of the meet posted the weight and ages of competitors today. My name wasnt on there at all (and Im competing in 2 categories). I messaged him and he said he didnt have it and I had to submit again. I had already paid over $100 with a money order, I wasnt going to double it, but before I could tell him to go fudge himself he messaged me back and had found it...so its on.

Totally unrelated, got my car today, drove around a little...the PNW has some hot women folk...Im thinking of doing that thing all the kids are doing where you mash your genitals together until the neighbors call the police.

Was supposed to do Day 1, but my right calf and hamstring have been bothering me. So thatll wait until next time*

Kept it rather simple today. I couldve done more on the flat, was feeling really good, but thats not what was called for today. Im noticing I do better with no lift off. When I get one I think the high weight comes to fast, Im able to get a feel from it more lifting myself.

Also set a PR. 135 x 5 on the flat bench. Usually I only get 3 (because I only do 3)

Im going to be taking 2 days off. Not rest days, my new doctor here wants to look up my bum. With a camera. If you fellas want, ill log that and post pictures (you know you want it).

Lastly, why did anyone ever think Seinfeld was funny?

Edit: Weighed in at 244.7 (I only weigh myself once a week)
 
The new list for my meet came out. Looks like I won! The only people competing in my weight class are classic raw (knee wraps) and Im raw.

Im upset because I paid for 2 age groups just to get around this and it didnt matter, but it does take some pressure off. Now I can go in and just lift heavy weight and not worry about anyone else...

Or I can drop weight.

Also I noticed no one has said they wanted pictures or a detailed description of my insides, silence means agreement to me. I might start a special thread for it "Show Meso Your Insides"

There was only 1 120kg+ person at my meet and when they put up all the names on the board for the list of how people would be going and he saw he was the only one in his catagory he yelled "I WON GIVE ME MY GOLD MEDAL NOW PLEASE" he then bombed out during squats.... Awkward eliminated first lift. could have done 135 for all lifts and got gold

Its funny because Im so worried about squat depth. Im thinking of going low my first lift just to get the stress off. Not 135, but 315 or so. Then jump to 415 and go from there.
