Just lost my first show because I wasn't feminine and pretty

Just came last in a bodybuilding show Because I wasn't pretty enough and I was too ripped according to judges. I don't have fake boobs. I trained hard and I only used 25mg anavar daily with clenbuterol toward the end of my cycle.

That seems to be a conservative amount with minimal androgenic side effects.

I posted a picture of my body and my face - it really hurt so bad to be called ugly in a competition. Well/ they didn't say ugly- they said I didn't meet the criteria of beauty.

I'm so confused and hurt and lost and don't know what to do.

Any suggestions? ( me without tan stuff on)

Cheer up.

It was your first show... shit happens.

Unfortunately, I can't offer much more advice than that...I know nothing about female bodybuilding judging criteria. Actually, I had no idea that points could be lost due to this.

You stood on a stage to be judged by other's though, for that, you have my respect.

Most of those classes are for women who don't even lift, you should be happy as hell that you trained passed the designated physique level. I would take that as a win

Don't let the judges determine how you feel about yourself.
You have an incredible physique. So what if you lost a show? You should be damn proud of yourself for stepping on stage and working your butt off to look the way you do.
There'll be other shows. You should never compare yourself to others, always go with the mentality to beat the physique you brought to your last show.

Cheer up, you're beautiful and look fantastic.
Now go lift something heavy for those of us who can't.

Xo

Oh, I also forgot to mention you may want to crop your face out of the pictures.
We are dealing with illegal substances and nobody needs to know you're using them.

Help a slow guy to understand... was this a beauty contest or a body builder competition? Were you supposed to be in 3 plus layers of makeup in a pushup bra? Or were you supposed to be ripped as if it were a body builder show? I'll tell you exactly what to do here. Forget it, and find a show that knows what the hell they are supposed to be judging! And for the record, that last pic ain't ugly. I see a cute girl hiding under that frustration.

Hi and welcome! I don't think you give yourself enough credit! You trained your buns off and got on that stage. That is a great accomplishment. Based on your suit style, you did bikini so I can see why you probably stood out. You've definitely developed a great base for a figure girl. Bikini division has a lot of judgment and points based on your sex appeal, confidence and most girls there aren't as defined or developed. Maybe you didn't feel too confident, maybe even shy as it was your first... but that's not a bad thing. Learn from it. :) and move forward.

I think you look great, although 25mg a day of var is a bit high for a female. Either way, looks like you earned some great gains! Keep at it!

Don't let one show put you down... remember... a lot of it is judge preference too or pushing someone out of that category to move them to another... sometimes even though you didn't place as high as you though, it's a gateway to better things...

Thank you- I actually did figure not bikini - but thinking of just doing natural shows from here on out. Yeah they are boring - everyone loves the freak show of unattainable muscle- but there is a lot less guess work on what to take and what not to take.

First of all, YOU ARE NOT UGLY!!!!! Actually your very attractive so forget that shit. Second, your physique lookes amazing, ripped and very shapely not to mention sexy as hell.
Bodybuilding is a tough sport because its subject to others opinion( judges) and they seem to get it wrong more than they get it right. So cheer up and get back in the gym and prepare for the next one.
Good luck to you :)

Hey, @Trainingsolo ....if you're looking for an ego boost, I'll help you out. I'm not bullshitting, either. I think you're finer than a mother f'er. Lets hook up and I'll show you just how fine.
Now that we've got that out of the way, you gals have to roll with the current look the judges are looking for. I'm not up to the moment with it all but the softer look may be what is getting the call outs and podium placings?
I'm in So Cal, where you at? I'm teasing.

Hey op, don't stress this event! Like Mr. B said, it's all subjective. That allows for favoritism and other corrupt bullshit to get involved! If I were you, I would move on and start prepping for the next contest and keep telling myself that I was cheated and use it as motivation!

Let it fuel you to be better tomorrow than you were today. Confidence is key in this sport/game so don't let one bad day or show get in your head. That is the only way you actually lose in anything! If you learn something from it then it's not a loss. Keep your head up
