Laboratory testing of AASs, GH, peptides...

Here is what I suggest for shipping oils:

1. Always try and ship in the warmer months.
2. Use freezer packs to insulate contents. These take a long time to freeze and can insulate the contents.
3. Wrap oils in ziplock bag and put some sort of absorbent material around them in the bag to absorb if contents leak.
4. Use bubble wrap to insulate.
5. Use 48 hour chemical heat pack(24 hour pack will usually do fine)

I don´t think the temperature is such an issue. Temperature in cargo holds of airplane is usually maintained in range 5-20°C.
There is usually few days since post accepts a parcel until it is carried by airplane, so heat pack would be already cold. Moreover It may cause a problem at x-ray inspection before flight, because plastic pack filled with inorganic material can be considered as hazardous materials an can be further checked.
Bubble wrap should be enough to protect it.

Just giving them ideas and the heat pack will actually insulate it as well as will cold pack. I do see the issue with customs.

I sent mine out the cheapest way possible; it cost about $13 and it arrived in less that a week. @Analyzer has properly identified the compounds, which were unmarked by name and he should be sending the detailed paperwork any time now. I'll post the link to the lab thread in here as soon as I get it.

What did you send again prop and npp?

Fuck this shit. I'm not going to read through all this shit.

To my understanding and someone correct me if I'm wrong. Labmax tests just tell you that there is hormone in it. But doesn't identify how much hormone is in the compound?

From the little bit of reading of this thread @mercury provides labmax services? He was asked if he charges members for testing, never answered?

He attacked or tried to discredit @mands and @Analyzer?

@mercury does seem knowledgeable and well versed in this field. To bad he seems to only do labmax.

To my understanding and reading the the scientific links @Analyzer testing methods are up to standard. And he obviously has access to equipment that not many can use.

@mercury you seem knowledgeable in these testing procedures/protocols. Do you have some type of degree in this field?

I believe labmax is a shitty testing method. My opinion. If @mercury has an agenda then he just needs to accept the fact that there is quite possibly a better testing method.

I personally will be using @Analyzer to test a few things I have. That was my word to @mands and the community. As soon as I get settled in to my new house I will be sending some things away.

@mercury if are providing labmax testing to the community @Analyzer is providing what seems to be a superior method. You both can benefit from this and help the community. Maybe you can work together.

@mercury for example a member sends you a sample for testing. And you want to see how much hormone is in the compound, then you can get with @Analyzer and send a sample to him for testing.

I'm sure working together for the benefit of the community would be great. Instead of working against each other.

Maybe @mercury and @Analyzer can speak in private and come up with a plan on how to maximize testing for us.

This shouldn't be a shit storm. People trying to help out. Many including myself don't know how this testing is done and all that chemistry and scientific shit.

We are here to help each other. Learn from each other.

Rant over. Shit!!!

You've about summed it up. Mercury would be a middle man at that point. It would increase time and all around costs due to shipping and middle-man profits. @Analyzer can identify the samples without even knowing what is sent to him. He's already done so with the two samples that I sent him. My samples went out a week ago today and all i'm waiting for is quantitative analysis and the report.

Edit: Additionally, @mercury was a complete dick about things.

I'll be sending out some samples as well. Hopefully this week.

I think this is great only thing is you sent 2 samples correct?

Don't even get me started bro i was at the center of this shit storm. Yes labmax only identifies what hormone is in there but not purity. Mercury went awol and threw a hissy fit because he was going to lose money. I thought he was very knowledgeable at first but then realized he seem to have an agenda and twist around things to make him right. Analyzer provided very specific testing methods too and pics of all equipment with the meso tag and date. I researched everything he stated and he is sound on his proceedures, i learned a ton from this thread. I just moved too bro and been settling in, ill be sending in samples as well as soon as i get paid next week.

Very cool
Dont think weve ever had a service quite as on point as this
This changes everything

I agree. I think introducing this lab is possibly the single most valuable contribution that a member can make. We now have affordable, quick and easy access to having our compounds verified for content and purity. Even if a relatively small number of members here are willing to have material analyzed, we can hold these small, startup home brewers to a much higher standard.

@Analyzer will I still receive the rest of the analysis and report today?

Bubble wrap should be enough to protect it.

I'm currently contracting for mass spec lab time for several samples (not through @Analyzer).

Here's what I've found:

1) You don't get to play with this equipment if you're not academically trained and formally qualified to use it. It's very likely that @Analyzer is both.

2) The results @Weston posted indicate cycle time longer than 80 minutes, plus another 20 minutes for re-equilibration, plus time for quantitative analysis. The posted cost estimates are a fraction of actual mass spec lab rates, so this is likely being conducted after-hours and off-the-books. I expect that @Analyzer will (need to) improve (that is, reduce) his cycle time with experience to keep this service competitive. Chinese labs have posted HPLC cycle times of 3 minutes, although these are of questionable accuracy.

3) On a related note, I would not necessarily expect @Analyzer to post a lab report detailing his equipment settings. These procedures determine cycle time, and therefore cost, and they likewise take time (and therefore money) to develop.

4) I would only note that it is more accurate to use a known reference standard for calibration, rather than relying on libraries.

If there is mutual interest, I propose that I send @Analyzer two of the samples which I'm also having tested. If the results correlate well, it will increase confidence in both of our testing protocols.

@Analyzer is still around here?
You should probably tag him in your thread or pm him because reps aren't supposed to leave their threads uninvited.

Edit: it's tantamount to spamming threads.

Edit 2.0: @Analyzer please don't respond to this guy in your thread. Once you start a dialogue with an uninvited rep, they'll all think they can come in here pushing their gear. This is like guerilla marketing/advertising.
