now that the dust has settled: liberty labs is not a scammer. it turns out there is a scammer pretending to be liberty labs, using the email "libertyiabs@proton.me" (i is capitalized, so it looks like a lower-case L)

all the accusations are wrong. my experience with LLabs has been great, especially as we clarified the issue that was going on.
