JetsFan, cardio is great. I do it 3x weekly even on a bulk (and new record, I just hit 246 this a.m.!).Honestly I've never done much cardio, but my workouts have always been around 2 hours with high volume/high intensity 5-6 days per week. I'm slowly getting on the cardio train though.
I listen to Seth Feroce's broadcast, and he hits fasted a.m. cardio early in the morning for 45 minutes EVERY day . . . and he observed what I observed. He feels great afterward.
Same here. It puts me in a good mood, even though I do not like doing cardio. I can't explain it, but I come home ready to take on the day and feeling great. Even my wife has noticed the difference in my mood. She noticed the difference so much that she encourages me not to miss my 3x weekly when I get busy and want to skip it.
Of course, when cutting I do more cardio.
