Long term raws storage prep

I wanted to get this thread started since I have a lot to learn about storing raws. Especially for long term storage.

Some of what I learned from @martino and few others:

Myler bags
Heavy duty plastic bags
Oxygen absorbers
Moisture absorbers
Schedule 80 3" or 4" PVC

I have also read that some compounds don't take well to freezing and release moisture etc ....

Feel free to pitch in ideas and perhaps other ways to store and experiences.

I store them in the original bag they came in, but with o2 absorbers in them. Then i seal the whole package in a vacuum sealed bag. Cut the vac bag larger so you can cut it open and reseal again.
Then it goes in my safe, which is dark and cool. No need to freeze imo.
I have some mk677 and cialis that have been stored for over 2 years that still seem to have the same potency as from day one.

Some will use nitrogen or argon to displace oxygen in the bags. However I've found this to be impractical.

I use a small shop vacuum to suck the air out of heavy 7mil mylar bags as most vacuum sealers don't have the force to remove oxygen from heavy thick bags.

I use a 4x4 block of wood as a support for the bags to sit on as I heat seal the bag with an iron. I cover the edge of the bag with tin foil to keep the melted plastic inside of the mylar bag from getting on my iron.

I then leave enough opening at the edge of the bag for the vacuum hose and suck all the air out with the oxygen absorbers in place and then finish it off with the hot iron to seal it with the vacuum running.

Best way for long term storage of raws is to use a divided locking Tupperware container with moisture packs and then vacuum seal and put into the freezer. Place the moisture packs into the small side of the container and leave for a couple days before freezing. Then vacuum seal and place into the freezer 04F8208A-5C09-47D8-9B30-E8A6C6F4FA51.jpeg
