Hey what's up guys! I've been a long time member but never posted anything. I have a couple questions about the situation that I'm in. I have done a couple cycles in the past and had really good gaines but I had a rough accident on 11/7/2016, a 1000lb pressure vessel shell flipped over and landed on my foot breaking 6 bones. The hit was SO HARD it left my foot 5/8" crooked!
8 constructive surgeries later I'm finally able to walk again but my therapy hurts like hell! 19 months of not being able to walk really takes a toll on you. I'm still on a cane at the moment but I'm trying really hard.
I started working out while I'm also in therapy but I got really bad muscle atrophy in the left leg. I want to do a cycle so I can build the muscle back up hoping that it will finally get me over this hump that I'm in. What would you guys recommend on taking and what source?

Ps. I have pictures of the accident so you guys won't think I'm bull shiting. But they're pretty graphic

IMO...do not complicate recovery with drug use and the rapid growth that comes with it. The muscle will come back. Your focus should be re-learning movement patters, maximizing range of motion, and generally moving with as little pain as possible.

Yeah but the movement is never coming back since I had a complete fusion and the pain in the ankle is finally starting to subside. The only thing I'm fighting now is muscle growth, my left calf is 2.5" smaller than my right. That's where most of the pain is coming from now.

Have you been cleared to lift and attempt to regain the atrophied muscle?

Yeah I have man, I had my last surgery in August last year. Even my pain management Dr suggested I see a dr that can prescribe testosterone but sadly it's not covered through workers comp.

That’s a serious injury bro. I don’t think anyone would feel comfortable recommending any thing, and for good reason. You could re-injure yourself. Maybe ask for help on coming up with a exercise plan to get you up to speed in the gym. Recovery could take months. Especially if you still have pain.
Good luck tho man!
I’m rooting for you!

That's not really how it works here... Finding a source is your responsibility.

As far as what compounds to use, there are several but I agree with @Mac11wildcat that you should avoid drugs at this time.

If you're able to lift now, I would dedicate a portion of my lower body lifting to compound movements and the rest to single leg movements. You'll probably never balance the muscles 100%, lots of people have difference in symmetry. You can still regain a lot of symmetry by just getting back into it though... Muscle memory is really incredible to witness. Revisit the drug thing much later down the road...

Trt. Right. Well that’s diff. I thought u meant blasting. My bad.

No problem bro, I should have stated that earlier. My bad actually. It's not really a symmetry issue but more as in functionality. I know some good sources around here but there is always a favorite right?

Well this is Dodge City. All I can suggest is, walk softly, read, read some more. Learn the unwritten rules of forums, starting with rule number 1, don’t ask for sources.
Sources have to prove themselves here, and members need to be able to find the info they need. It’s but a small investment but tells hugely of your effort level and intelligence. All your questions have the answers in today’s threads alone.
Good luck!
U be fine!

Thanks bro I really appreciate it! I just want to get to my old self. I got a spinal cord stimulator and it's working really good! So no more 10 hydrocodone a day or any of that BS.

So the better way to explain is that only my foot was affected in the accident. The foot feels ok now, the issue is the muscle strength, It's just to weak. I have been in therapy a total of 9 months on and of due to surgeries. So I'm at the point where I have all the movement I'm going to get done.

Got it man! I know now lol. I do love the tough love you guys give, thanks for the honest answers

I'm going to run it about 4 months. I took the first dose yesterday. I'll be posting pictures of the leg I'm working on every week so we can see the difference. Just like Eman said, I need to work on my muscle memory. But i have a good feeling

I snapped my femur at the bottom, basically at the knee joint. Ruined my life dude. I ended up discovering anabolics on my climb back from that injury. I can squat some respectable weight now and have regained some size in the leg but it's not 100%. I don't expect it to even come close to the good leg again. Don't be suprised if you find yourself in the same boat, but it's not an end game thing my man. Slow and steady, it'll come back. Don't put yourself out by growing too fast, other issues may develop because of your original issue. I now have a right hip problem that's directly related to the femur. It's all manageable but it's a reality.

Good luck man, slow and steady

Oh man I'm sorry to here that @ickyrica! Femur brakes are extremely painful to go through. I'm sure it will never be the same also but I do know that it will help. I got my MMI % " maximum medical improvement" 3 months ago and I lost 21% of mobility. I'll make sure to go slowly, maybe I'll take the dose down to 350mg. What gear/dose were you running?

I first used around 3 years after the last surgery so I was well along in the process. I used 500mg test cyp ew to start. One hell of an eye opening experience.

@Holidaypay the wounds are healed up well now. I'll have my wife take a picture of the calfs and post them up tonight. I am super excited! It's going to be a long run but I'm up for it
