Lower Test levels pre-blood work for TRT

Gents,

I have a follow-up with my TRT doc for blood work. My previous results came was at 1100 (using TRT dose of 200mg Test E per week), so my doc had me lower it and we will check again. But, I waited a couple of weeks to lower it and I would like to know how to crash my test to ~800, which is where my doc wants it. I've cut down the exogenous test to the 100mg/wk but with bloods next week, I want to drop it.

I do have some var on hand and I've read mixed results about the impact of Anavar on test levels, but my understanding, albeit novice level, is that var may drop test somewhat. Would it be smart or dumb to start my var now? I've been waiting until after I see the doc for bloods to make sure var doesn't pop up somewhere on the blood results. Full disclosure: I'm newer to the science behind this so while I'm an avid reader, I would appreciate some input from you more experienced guys.

Thanks,
Tigr

HDL & SHBG are red flags. Usually not measured, but if the HDL & SHBG are suspicious, LH & FSH will help nail it down. I have caught it many times.
You are a bit more adept at these things. Maybe i should have stated that it won't show an elevated test level?
Good info to know, thank you!

Thanks for the input, doc. My situation is that I'm currently on TRT at 200mg of Test E by my specialist; however, my primary is concerned that my test levels (~1100) are too high, thus my retest. My primary is a tad more comservative that I prefer so I want to get my test in range before seeing him. And, as you likely read, I'm planning to run a cycle after seeing the doc. As of today, I haven't cycled in about 7 years.

Any thoughts?

Again, thanks for the input. I appreciate you guys as experts chiming in.
