Had lunch on capital hill with a friend who is a lobbyist....he said the buzz on the hill is that McCain may consider a VP role under Kerry....I say bullshit...he says 50/50....

McCain has a HUGE bone to pick with Rove and Bush....remember this tidbit from the 2000 primaries in South Carolina???

In 2000, during the Republican Primary, the candidate to beat was the "war hero" and former POW, John McCain. McCain then was widely noted as a man of integrity for fighting corruption and advocating for political campaign reform. (See Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002) Rove allegedly began a whisper campaign against McCain telemarketers where hired to call voters in South Carolina claiming that McCain betrayed his fellow POWs and fathered interracial children(he adopted a child from Bangledesh). The rumors had no basis in fact, but appeared to be successul in changing the thinking of enough voters to cost McCain the GOP primary.

I just can't see it though....keery to left and Mccain to right......But they are admitted buds???? So lets see what happens.

People hear in AZ need to vote that back stabber out of office, if he wants to be a dem then run as one. but he won't get elected here if he did.........11

McCain's an outside possibility i think bro. Seems more probable that Kerry would choose Edwards or Clark to gain support in the South

not a chance. with a republican congress gunning for his ass, they would make kerry's presidency useless. McCain would never leave the republican party like that. will never happen.
