Meso Movie Reviews

Interstellar was the best movie in the last 5 years in my opinion. I'm kind of an outcast when it comes to movies; Not really any action stars that I like watching, they all seem too emasculated in my opinion so I recycle the 80s flicks. I liked Interstellar because it made you think a little bit.

Inception was like that a few years back. I enjoyed it a lot, too.

Liam Neeson and Denzel Washington have made a few decent action flicks in recent years.

I just want to reiterate how good The Martian was. Both my ladyfriend and I read the book, saw it in the theaters, and rewatched it again last night. Probably one of the best, if not the best, book adaptations Ive seen.

Yes, I'm fond of the original as well. The series is worth watching for sure. Have you seen any of it yet?

No it was one of those things were Im such a fan of the original I didnt want to smear its memory, and one of my buddies that's also a fan of the movie gave it a big double thumbs down. But Ive literally not heard anything since the first couple eps, so if you're a fan of the film and you like it, maybe Ill give it a go.

Check out 10 Cloverfield Lane if you haven't already. I watched it last night and it was a good movie. The crazy fat dude throughout the movie is a major control freak and the ending of the movie is a bit weird but overall 9.5/10. I found out about it browsing Primewire btw.

My fiancee and I watch Supernatural and The 100 and both had season finales recently. The other night I was just going through the list on Hulu forever without finding anything I cared to watch and I kind of just randomly played the first episode of 12 Monkeys and it ended up being pretty decent. We just started the second season. Outside of the very start of it it's nothing like the movie. It's pretty entertaining though in my opinion if you look at it as pretty much its own thing.

We are actually working our way thru the 100 right now. One of my fellow sci-fi nerd work friends recommended it to me, and at first we couldnt get over how much we hated all the main characters, but she encouraged us just to stick for the story. Then Clarke and the gang grew on us.
So yeah, I guess we are on the same TV nerd wavelenght, so Ill give 12 monkeys a shot. Cheers bro!

Telus & Shaw are your version of Cox Communications. And the famous "Roxy"'well have many stories from that club. :D

You 2 are speaking Canadian and no one understands you

The Roxy is the place most Canadians who haven't lost their virginity by 19 lose their virginity. This club is next level grease ball central... Except Sunday nights because that's industry night when all the hot waitresses who have to work Friday's and Saturdays go out and get trashed, lord bless their stupid hearts :D. I want to equate it to maybe coyote ugly

I watched this last night. Not their best work by any means, but decent in that it was two grizzled old dudes hunting each other in the wilderness with bows and setting traps. Kind of like The Hunted, just not nearly as good.
