Syndergaard is a freak! I am a Cubs fan (insert cruel joke here) but I love watching that kid pitch.

I hate the Mets, but DAMN am I hoping this current crop of starters (Syndergaard, Matz, DeGrom, etc) doesn't meet the same fate as the last crop of stud starters the Mets had with those injuries (Generation K = Isringhausen, Pulsipher, Wilson) in the mid 90's. Within the same calendar year, all 3 suffered career altering injuries.

That just speaks volumes about their pitching coach in my opinion. Might know who to get, but doesn't know when enough is enough. That was Verlanders problem until late this year. He's up their in age and still expected to throw 98-99mph for 7 ennings.

I do agree, Syndergaard is a freak! Pretty sure he hit a 100mph that night.

Crazy that the Rangers are getting a new ballpark. I get it, its hot as fuck in DFW during the summer, but their current place is relatively new.
