MRI results: need to strengthen tendons

Hi,
I just got MRI results for my left shoulder:
1. compression fracture of the humeral head
2. partial tears of the infraspinatus tendon and supraspinatus tendon

I got the MRI because my left shoulder was posterially separating (subluxation). I need to get these tendons stonger. I've read two schools of thought on making them stronger:
1. The Dr. says to use lighter weight and higher reps for my back exercises. (I've been doing the 5x5 for about 11months with periods of delaoding).
2. An internet search turned up some HIT-like training for strengthening the tendons: partial reps using 150% poundages of 1rm for 5reps.

The reason for my post is these two programs are completely different. One focuses on overlaoding with board press and partial reps, while the other is high reps 10-12 low weight.

Which program is best for strengthening my partially torn tendons?

Is there another regimen you would recommend?

Thanks for all your help,

can i ask wether you are using AAS at all , reason for asking if you are there is a good protocol for increasing collagen synthesis to help heal tendons along with blood injections direct into the tendon area , hope i have not offended you if you dont use AAS

I was really looking more along the lines of training to strengthen injured tendons.

BTW, No offense taken... this is a 'steroid fourm' (at least that's what it says on the very top left link of this webpage)
