Hello Meso-nians,
as MESO sees itself as "the no bs board", let's cut straight to the chase:
Say a new continental-european source would like to introduce itself on MESO. Would this be even possible at this point in time? If so, how?
(for the sake of conciseness the aforementioned source will hereafter be abbreviated as TS)
Why would i ask such a question?
1. TS knows that there are multiple "sponsored boards" which need payment to let you promote your stuff and even more payment to call your products "g2g" (maybe regardless of the quality) but was under the belief that MESO and SST are unsponsored and willing to find the best products. Now TS made accounts on both boards and found the following:
1a) Account creation on SST under TS's name was possible and TS created a thread that got deleted after 48 hours without any notice. Now TS believes that someone at SST is related to another source that doesn't like competition and got TS booted. (there are practically no real EU sources on SST, all sellers are pseudo-european big sites [with sponsoring on BOP et al] or ship from outside EU)
1b) Account creation on MESO was not possible for TS under its name as the account never received the confirmation emails (tried twice). Now TS is under the impression that some admin at MESO is so paranoid of scammers that he doesn't allow anyone that sounds like a source to even sign up. The name does not imply where the source is located, so saying its to kill competition would be a stretch.
2. TS understands the paranoia surrounding new sources in relation to scamming etc., but after reading some of the vetting threads thinks that:
2a) TS could offer original Pharma products in their original packaging with traceable history and signed by the pope himself and some people would still call "Fake!" and "Scam!". So there is a zero chance to satisfy these people. TS does not know how much influence those people have.
2b) While its always hilarious to read, the vetting process is mostly garbage (but still better than bought reviews) as:
2bI) no serious seller with any integrity would post pictures of its lab, equipment, internal information like manpower or exact location
2bII) no person with an average IQ and untinged by some new age fetish would post pictures of his girlfriend/wife to please other men or grow his business
2bIII) Probably does more harm than good as the aforementioned average IQ person would be able to set up a scam by only reading the Olympia Labs vetting thread. It is obvious that by teaching people how not to be scammed you also might teach others how to scam, but in the present form you individually school the scammers at their current level of scamminess by explaining what to do and what not to do.
3. TS thinks it is illogical to frown upon sources giving free samples as introduction (if the receivers are transparent that it was a free sample given to them and that any remark about any gear must always be read as "x was good at time y") but at the same time asking the source to send in samples for testing. If a scammer would send out top shelf products to maybe-future-customers, he would also send a top shelf vial to the testing. Having a single vial tested at point y in time and by this having a constant proof is worse than having only the words of some users that got free samples. In contrast to this thinking TS holds the opinion that from a users perspective sources (or really any kind of business) should always be treated like a restaurant: if they are new and have some introduction promos why not give them a try while remembering they are new and will put everything in to be seen as the go-to. Then constantly be aware of their current status as you and they go along by also asking friends how satisfied they are and listening to what others have to say. If someone throws a test here and there, all the better.
People generally need to understand that they have to always use their brain and that anyone can be hit by a scam at any time and even by big brands, online and offline.
4. Unrelated to 1-3 TS would like to hire @T-Bagger as a rep as he apparently lives and breathes this shit. He would be flown to western europe and set up in an undercover cave with a juice-fountain and all expenses on the company but under a strict only-3-hookers-a-day-rule (sorry, european law).
So, can a new source still get reasonably in on MESO?
