4th You heavyiron was a supporter of one of the biggest scamming/selective scammers unclez. You have posted many labs and posted noting what top quality service and products he provided. Just like other sponsors I wont post because I do not feel it is fair to them but anyone who have been around for a while knows who is worth doing business with and who is not.. But what I find perplexing is that these labs use people like yourself to represent their products in one way or another because you have clout in the on line business and the unsuspecting "NOOBS" will trust what you have to say..
This is a risk that everyone who chooses to be a company rep faces. Most sources turn bad. Most are eventually busted. And many customers are left out of money with no product. The longer the source is in business, the greater chance that this scenario is played out. This is the nature of this particular business.
Several members have asked me if they should become a rep for 'xyz' source. I've always warned them that any association with the source could taint their credibility with any (un)intentional lapses in customer service by the source.
So given the risk inherent in becoming a rep for a third-party company, anyone who chooses to do so should do everything possible to maintain their credibility.
The number one recommendation is to never become a shill for the company or blindly endorse their products. Limit any posts to informational posts rather than promotional posts. Any information shared should be solid, quality, verfiable information.
The information may or may not benefit the 'employer'. But above all, it must be true and verifiable.
In sum, company reps should avoid following approach by reps such as matthewjasper. Instead, they should approach the position more like heavyiron. From a web publisher's perspective, most of the posts by heavyiron add informative value to the discussion while disclosing any associations. Matthewjasper, not so much.
Some may consider reps like heavyiron worse than matthewjasper simply because they contribute useful information and are more credible(!) But I think by honestly providing disclosure, it gives all readers a chance to consider any potential bias.
It all comes down to the question of 'what is most credible (ethical) way of being a company rep?'
