No Phat customers..be safe.

Not really
I have always had bad grammar.
And all this shit has me on point
Thanks rut man

What's that mean? You're on point? Gonna have to break you off cuz you dropped the ball with a customer getting a controlled delivery.
If anyone was wondering I don't return pm's or have any discussion when I get lit up with whomever is at the helm of the nophat account because I don't believe its the man I know as nophat. You ain't him.
I consider nophat a friend and don't have anything to say to the person posting. I look forward to talking with Nophat at a later date and time.

So you saying nophat's account was either hacked or taken over by some other person? Millard should be able to check ip's to see a pattern.

I have not been around very long but even i can tell with these post, that aint nophat...LE needs to go chase some crack dealers or meth makers... This is FUCKING LAME!!!!

I agree. The point was delivered.

It pisses me off that people make a mockery out of it.

I went to Ben because I knew he'd know what to do. He was compelled to get the info out there to help anyone (which, by the way I WAS NOT interested in, as I worried it put myself and other NP customers at bigger risk by taking it public). Now it seems people don't understand that and don't see the severity or the importance of it. Fuck that. That'll teach me to try and help people.. Some members certainly did see the importance and we may never know if this actually saved anyone's ass or not.

It is best. Any time a source is suspect, members need to know.

As a source it is to be expected. Sucks but it's the only way. Better safe than sorry.

The admin can only see IP addresses for the past 48 hours -- the data is purged after this time period -- so it's generally difficult to detect a pattern. In the past, I don't recall him ever making an attempt to mask his IP address with a VPN or TOR although that observation is only based on my recollection.

I checked his IP address early last month when I was first notified that his account may have been breached. At that time, he was posting via a static IP address/residential address and mobile phone provider. Today, he's posting from the same static IP address.

There's nothing here based on IP addresses to suggest he's not who he says. Of course, there is also nothing to suggest he is currently making member "safety" a priority or has ever made member "safety" a priority either.

Millard should lock it then and if it is LE he would get a subpoena or something. We also should be careful.

MESO has never received a subpoena for user/member information in over 20 years.

Millard, do you know if meso would actually receive a subpoena at all? Maybe this is a stupid question, but wouldn't they be able to conduct any kind of investigation without informing you or anyone associated with the site? I don't know much about anything IT related, so apologies if I'm not even asking my question the right way

No, it's a very good question. For example, could they simply subpoena the web host for that info and/or image the webserver while leaving MESO in the dark? I don't know.

Thanks for clarifying, Millard
